i own both the 168 and 169 and love them both. i use 168 for blush and the 169 for contouring. the 168 has got a fuller 'head' and is better for the application of blush and i find that the 169 is great for contouring because it is narrower. i tried using the 169 for blush a few weeks ago and it went a bit streaky. i think that overall the 168 is more versitile because its fantastic for either blush or contouring. hope this helps!
