Hello I got bored today and decided to do a tutorial, and I figured, since I hadn't done it before, why not do a rainbow eye?
Well, halfway through I figured out that I had no REALLY bright colors except teal (which isn't even that significant in the rainbow) so it turned into a shimmery kind of washed out rainbow.
Which is still rainbow because it looks like those half transparent ones you see in the rain

.
Anyway, here it is!
WHAT I USED:

Colors are numbered according to appearance
1-Light Gold (Highlight)
2-Deep Gold (my feeble attempt at yellow)
3-Orange/Peach
4-Red
4-Bright Magenta
5-Deep Purple (which looked kind of maroonish)
6-Another dark Purple
7-Dark Blue
8-Teal (LOVE)
9-Green
10-doesn't look it, but Light Green
First, slather your eye in a layer of primer/base. I'm real cheap-I use a magazine sample of Maybelline's Dream Mousse Foundation (I think it looks really chalky as a foundation)
Then, put a light shimmery gold at the inner corners. I brought the color all the way up to my eyebrow.
Then my "yellow", which is actually a gold.
Then a red. See how I stretched my red all the way to the end of my lid? DON'T DO THAT. I had to fix all my colors because I ran out of space, so maybe plan out where your colors are going to go before actually applying them.
Then my pink. You can blend later (my lame excuse for horrible blending)
Then purple. I stuck my brush right into the outer corner (or outer V) of my eye to make them seem longer because my eyes are quite close-set)
Then I brought the purple up and that concludes our colors on the top lid.
Then add your highlight and blend your little hearts out!
Now take your angle brush and dip it in blue. All I had was a navy greyish color...oh well.
Then my teal. I know its not in the rainbow. But it's a really pretty color and i was just dying to use it. PLUS it's the only really bright color I own : p (This one really looks like MAC Parrot)
Then add the green and lighter green respectively at the inner corners
Add some eyeliner. I used the maybelline and then the lancome because it wasn't dark enough. I stretched the lid (pulled it towards my hairline) and then drew the line close to my lashline, making it thicker as it reached the outer corner. It was kind of a wing, but not really.

Also line the upper and lower waterlines.
Curl and mascara : )
Clean everything up and you're done! I got a Q tip and made the line under my eye thinner, and then brought the makeup remover soaked Qtip up in a swoop and made a line on the outside of my eye (this doen't make sense, so look at the picture

)

Get it?
Done
These few are in sunlight.
After a while, I decided to wear this out and added a nude lip. Just concealer and some Revlon pink lipgloss (Barely Blossom) which i LOVE.
And for those Photoscape (so easy to use!) users out there (or just anyone really),
CC DEFINITELY wanted. I've just started makeup a few months ago, and already I've learned so much from this site : ) So thanks guys.
