In the FAQ forum there is a list of the top 5 red lipcolors, which might give you a good jumping off point: http://specktra.net/forum/showthread.php?t=25458

I strongly suggest going to a counter and trying colors out on your hand, as red can be a tough shade to find that stays true on some skintones.
