I picked up two boxes of it at Walmart. One box is enough to do several treatments on my hair. It doesn't make it stick straight but it makes it glossier, and it dries better.

(This is not my design, it came from the blog "Daily Nail" but I had a whole Back to School theme going on so I wanted to try this one out and I really like it!)

I used:
China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat
China Glaze - White on White (paper)
L.A. Colors Art Deco - Baby Pink (the side margin)
L.A. Colors Art Deco - Sky Blue (lines)
L.A. Colors Art Deco - Red (grades)
China Glaze - Liquid Leather (paper holes)
China Glaze Matte Magic Top Coat (all over to give the paper a flat finish)
Seche Vite Top Coat (I used this only on the letters to give those a little shine as if they had actually been written with a pen)

Its like this, but a little more faded (so the gradient effect isn't so noticeable):


I have several options, because I have a million hair products in my closet.
I have the red dye I used, which looks like this originally (left) and then I kind of toned the colour down (right):


Or I thought I could just bleach my roots to get everything more or less the same colour.
OR, red on top and a more purply colour underneath somewhere.

I have bright red dye, bright blue (can be mixed with red to make purple, obviously), a medium redbrown dye, a mousy light brown dye, a light bleach. So I can't decide what I want to do! Not re-red, but this kind of golden red:





I'm a blonde using the same hair color for more than 10 years now. I love the color, I'm just feeling the need of change, ya know?

Of course I would go to a professional, but I've some fears... I had an horrid experience when I change my hair from red to blonde and it turned out orange (and it was in a salon!).

But my doubts concerning more makeup. Like, I would loose all my blue eyeshadows! :lmaoo:Seriously, I love blue es, but I don't think they work well for redheads (green and black are perfect). I'm not sure if purples will not be too much with redhair too.

What do you think about this hair color and makeup? Dos and don'ts?

This is me with my current hair colour (although a bit faded as this was in may) and my red hair, last summer. I'm MUFE HD 117 and BE fairly light for refrence, hazel eyes and freckles. I dont tan, ever.
