Transition color for crease

Hello everybody!

I've been using my matte bronzer as a transition color for blending purposes for the longest time, but I thought I'd step it up and get a real eye-shadow for that use..

I am deciding between:

Wedge
Cork
Soft Brown
Soba (all MAC). I'm an NC35 at the moment.

I'd love to hear everybody's opinion!

Hey all...

I'm designing a face chart for an upcoming fantasy shoot and I've realized I'd like to have some texture in the look. I've seen a lot of black, textured lids looking shiny and almost like vinyl. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Hi everyone, I only have a few mac products, but I'd really like to get a nice glowy look... I don't like the bronzey look, but more of a soft pink/flushy/just played in the snow look. What products do you recommend for my cheeks for this?

Do you guys recommend that I wear a blush and then a mineralize skinfinish overtop, or that i buy one of the mineralize blushes?

Hi everyone,
I am hesitating between MAC gingerly, margin, melba and peachykeen blush. I am looking for a neutral peachy/orange blush that looks like a bronzer but that can also look bright if i layer it.
Which one would you recommend?

I use to wear SF Fluid but I have switch to the powder foundation since it's so humid in FL. Which is the best concealer to wear with the powder? I think the one i was using is too dark for me because it makes dark blotches wherever I put it on and I have just been skipping concealer completely. I don't have bad undereye circles so I would basically be using it to cover blemishes.

Any rec's for this lipstick?

I bought this at my CCO to use as an eyeshadow base. Got home & read the insert that it's not eye safe.

I'm stumped how to use this now. I'm NW25 & this is too light to use as a highlighter. Any suggestions?

Hello lovely ladies of Specktra. I am currently on a mission to try out a new foundation. Like many people out there, I'm always on the hunt to find the "next best thing" lol, I currently use MUFE Mat Velvet in #60, and Mac Studio Fix Fluid in NC35 (breaks me out from time to time). I'm looking for medium to full coverage but I don't like the caked up look. I've been "itching" to try Mac's Studio tech or Urban Decay's Surreal skin cream to powder foundation. What is your HG foundation or what would you recommend for me to try out. I have normal/oily skin so I don't know what would be a good fit for me. I've heard mixed reviews about foundations so I wanted to get some opinions. Any suggestions or recommendations would be great! Thanks!

Makeup for lime green outfit

I'm doing some stage makeup for girls that will be wearing lime green outfits. I'm looking for suggestions as far as eye shadows that will make the eyes pop, but not look trashy, same with lip color. I was thinking shimmery brown/copper might look good on some girls, or even a neutral eye with brown in the crease to define the eyes. I'd love to hear some more ideas! Thanks!

MAC selectsheer powder or mineralize skinfinish natural as a bronzer?

Hi everyone,

I am currently using MAC NC55 selectsheer pressed powder as a bronzer, I like the result but I dont really notice that much difference and am thinking about trying another one.

I noticed that many people use MAC mineralize skinfinish natural in dark or deep dark as a bronzer. I was wondering what is the difference between the selectsheer & mineralize skinfinish natural and also the colors compared to the NC55. Is dark & deep dark darker or lighter than the NC55 and which one is better? Which one would you recommend? Should I stick with the NC55 or try the mineralize skinfinish natural?

Peachy blush that is similar to a bronzer

Hi,
I am looking for a peachy color blush that is similar to a bronzer and would make me look a little more tan. I want a blush that I would be able to wear when I go for a more natural look but also when I wear smokey eyes and nude lips or smokey eyes and bright pink lips, something neutral but still shows up.
I already have MAC sunbasque and I really like it but I find it a little too pink/red and I want something more peachy/orange kinda like a bronzer.
Any recommendations?

Bobbi Brown is STILL not olive enough!

Hey guys!

I posted a thread more than a month ago in MAC Chat about my NC25/30 being not olive/golden enough. I'm Chinese, and i do have an olive undertone. NC25/30 use to work great for me, but since this summer, i don't know what it is, but maybe cuz i tanned A LOT (got to an NC35), i got extremely olive and golden. Even as i lightened up (i'm an NC25 now), that mega olive/golden undertone is still there. I got some advice to go to Bobbi Brown to check out their foundations, but still no luck. Under sunlight, their foundations were still too pink on me. I have another gf who has the same problem as me, cept she is extremely olive/golden naturally. Do any of you have an extremely olive/golden undertone? - I need help and i've run outta sources. Nars didn't work either, and I'm not even going to check drugstore/mass marketed brands, cuz they're usually pink as hell.

I don't know if this problem is temporary or if it's here to stay. What to dooooo?? :(

Which bronzer for NC25?

I have never been using bronzer but would like to start after having tried one at a friends place.

But which one can you recommend for me? I am NC 25 with bleached blond hair and green eyes. Any brands are welcome, I don't have any preferences.

And good tips on applying it are also very much appreciated. Do I for instance have to put it on the nose? I don't think my large nose need any enhacement ;)

Im going to buy Blackberry and Yogurt eyeshadow... and I really want a nice pink what would look good with it. I thought about maybe Swish or All That Glitters? Do you have swatches?

Oh, and Im fair-medium skinned, dark dirty blond ;) and blue-greenish-gray eyes.
