Sculpt powder for porcelain skin!

Ive been looking at the sculpt powders on the mac pro website, but I'm not sure which color would suit my very porcelain skin the best. Any recommendations?

Brown Eyeshadow Rec!

Hi ladies! I am looking for a meduim brown eyeshadow with no shimmer in it!
I have 3 brown eyeshadows right now:
Brun: I use for my eyebrows.
Espresso: Love this color but I am looking for something lighter.
Soft Brown: Good color to blend out crease, looking for something darker.

SO basically I am looking for a color in between Espresso and Soft brown.
Also, I don't want it to have grayish undertones (like brun does) or too reddish.

Oh, and I'm not sure if it matters but I am NC40.

Sharpeners for large Benefit pencils?!

Which sharpener do you guys use for your big Benefit pencils? I have the MAC dual ended sharpener, and Eye Bright is to big for it, and also not really the right shape to fit.

I thought maybe Benefit would make a sharpener, but I went to Sephora today and I guess not. :dunno: I would really appreciate some recommendations!

still searching... I LOOOOOOOOOVE this eye shadow. When I bought it i was still new to mac and I didn't realize that there was such a thing as LE. Now I check every collection to see if just maybe they are going to repromote.

I've tried ploof and naked lunch but nothing is perfect. QQ

Smelly brushes

So I got a couple brushes at Wal-Mart they were cheap and i was like why not. Both are natural fiber and white, the hairs they look like the lowe cornell (sp?) brushes i have and are similar in texture)

they are great brushes, one is a dense kabuki type and another is a big powder brush...

only... they smell like a petting zoo....

i can almost hear goats when i use them that's how bad they smell. i've washed them about 3 times and they smell like wet animals when i do that.

What do i do!? i just try to use them quickly and hold my breath i don't have any other adverse reaction to them, other than wrinkling up my nose.

i'm going on a trip soon and sharing a room and i neeeeed them to not be stinky in case one of my roomies decides they want to check them out. LOL

Shadestick vs. NYX Jumbo Pencil question

I have oily lids on which everything creases --- except with TFSI. TFSI makes my shadow stay put all day.

So I've used Shadesticks and they certainly crease, except over TFSI. I'm just wondering if any other oily lid girls on whom Shadesticks crease w/o primer but work WITH primer have tried the NYX Jumbo pencils?

I read that they crease, but then, everything would crease on me without TFSI, so I'm trying to determine if that's a factor.

Hey everyone, I'm starting to get more into blushes, as of now I only have Nars Orgasm, MAC Nuance, and Stila Convertible color Lilium. All of the blushes I own are on the pink to peach side. I want to branch out more and have different colored blushes that I could alternate between the seasons, for different looks and for different occasions.

Nars Orgasm is a nice golden pink/peach on me
MAC Nuance is a nice warm golden peach on me
Stila Convertible color Lilium looks like a very light yet slightly dirty pink on me.

Anyone know of any nice and flattering nude blushes, darker blushes for fall/winter seasons and other nice colors for my skintone? I have mostly yellow undertones, I can wear MAC f&b in C2, MUFE hd 120, and Nars sheer glow in fiji. I don't really have a preference on brand (high-end or low-end) or if it's powder or cream, as long as I can get on-line or in stores here in the mid-west (I don't live close to a sephora, mac, etc. and all the drugstore brands don't have testers). NW concealer for NC undereyes?

Hi~ i was wondering if NW concealer would work better than NC concealer for my eye bags if i am usually a NC30?
Since salmon-colored concealers are better at concealing the purpleness under the eyes... would buying a NW30 concealer instead of my usual work the same way? I've always purchased Select Moisturecover concealer in NC30 and yeah... greatly appreciate any help! :D

Cheerleading Makeup

Well I have a bit of a problem. I've done make-up for sweet 16's, brides, parties, and even pageants but never cheerleading competitions! A couple of girls in a competition cheer group hired me to do their makeup, but I have no idea what cheer makeup is supposed to look like...lots of glitter and bright colors? Cheek + Eye Recs for NARS Sibera

I've really been fancying a simple eye look, since school has started again and I suddenly have to get up about an hour and a half earlier than I did last year. I've been doing a simple winged liner with my favourite liquid liner (Kat Von D's Autograph Liner in Romantico, recently discontinued - any rec's for dupes for that, as well? I have heard that UD's Liner in Smog is close) but after seeing one of the models for the VV collection, I've really been wanting to try that sort of look. I reckon that they used Melon pigment under the liner, but I already planned to purchase that so I'm treating myself this weekend.

But are there any other similar colours out there in pressed pan form? Pigments are a bit fiddly for everyday morning use, especially if I'm in a rush. I was considering colors like Woodwinked, Retrospeck, All That Glitters... any opinions/recs? If there is a fourth color that would go with those MAC colors, I may end up making a quad.

Also, I've fallen in love with MAC Desert Rose and Illamasqua Hussy blushes... any recs for similar colours? I've heard that MAC Fleur Power is similar to Desert Rose...

Any price points/brands are welcome. Thanks in advance!

yellow eyeshadows , where are you ?

hey !
i've noticed that i've been looking for my perfect yellow eyeshadow and it's seriously nowhere to be found , i want a nice bright yellow but not neon yellow , i want it to have warm undertones , like a mustard yellow maybe ... a matte and a pearl finish would be nice .

Mauve/Rose/Beige Eyeshadow recs

I'm looking for a mauve/rose/pink/beige eyeshadow shade. Something similar to UD Shotgun (without the glitter, lol) or Quite Spoiled from the new Palace Pedigreed quad. MAC Neutral Pink would be close, but its a bit too pink.

Sheer foundations

Any recs. for a sheer foundation? It has to be talc, mica and spf free.

Or a recommendation for a mineral make-up without those three ingredients would be great, too.
