How much do you spend on MAC ?
Do you spend like every penny on MAC or do you save money ? As for me savings is not an option since I love make up so much, I try not to end up broke but I spend almost 25% on bills, 15% on food and about 60% goes towards my MAC fund. I torture my dad every Friday, I say to him " Hi dad would you like to donate to my MAC fund to help me build up my collection?" He just looks at me and laugh, and I say " No seriously, it's a good investment".

I used to blow $100+ at the counter or online each time, but then I moved, so my spending went waaaaaaaay down. I haven't bought MAC since Culturebloom.

It's hard to admit how obsessed I am...
I'm a SAHM and get $100 weekly for myself to spend however I want. Almost every single week I spend this online on MAC. The only time this money doesn't go 100% MAC is right before a holiday or one of my kids' birthdays. Right now I'm in desperate need of clothes and have to put it off because of all the freakin' collections coming out.

Since January alone I have spent over 2000 on MAC.
Most of this, however, has gone toward my kit since I've been doing a lot of freelance lately

There's a discussion here about how much we spend and what our collections are worth.

I usually spend about $150-$200 on a big collecction like Sundressing, and I don't always get the little collections, but if I do around $55-85 on those. Like I completely passed on Who's That Lady but I got all of Y & Kei.

If a new collection comes out , I will usually spend about $150 , depending on what I like. But I try not to go every month and get tempted. But of course that is hard to do!

right now I'm only buying the collections (because I'm home from school from the summer I only have a counter and I refuse to buy any-non LE eyeshadows in pot form.) so its about 150$ on something like sundressing, 40$ on Dejarose, 150$ on Culturebloom, 100$ on Sweetiecake (though I do regret buying so much)
but percentage wise its about 1/4th of my paycheck. But I need to get that undercontrol I still have to save for school.

I spend about $150-$175 every other week... and that's after PPID discount. With the collection coming out right on top of one another, I have no choice! Then again, I rarely buy permanent items b/c I'm too busy spending all my dough on LE!

I spend about 0$-260$ per month thats my limit then there are times when i dont buy anything for the whole month, This month i bought some stuff from the sundressing collection and spent around 170$something, but i did go to the mac counter the other day to buy "babied" 17$ and some change after tax and "THATs ALL I BOUGHT " just that 1 item. I guess it depends on the collection that comes out. & if u like the colors enough to buy the whole collection, When it boils down to it i dont think there is a set amount people spend on MAC or cosmetics in general per month -per day-per year.... All i know is that going to the MAC counter or Ordering online is Addictive like drugs or something "ahhh its like u cant never get enough: "sigh"

Not much anymore...when I was at counter, I would get a lot of stuff as gratis or with my discount, so I stocked up on the basics (palettes, shadows, blushes, brushes, glosses, etc). Now that I freelance, I only buy certain things that I really want, mainly for myself, not for my kit. I do get a lot of samples (foundation, pigments, etc) so that cuts down on my spending big time...

I keep it down under $50 for each collection, since I mostly just buy lipglasses... but I think it will change with Lure. Lemming 1 e/s, 2 l/g. *dead*

I did pretty well to control myself the last 6 months. The last 2 collections that I really spent on MAC were the last MSF collection and Sundressing pigments, and I also did buy some random stuff like a lipstick and a fluidline. I spent only around $200 on MAC over the last few months. Of course, in between I paid around $20 for MAC pigment samples.
But I am already lemming quite some stuff from the Lure and She Shines collection. I am planning to get at least 2 e/s from Lure and 3 pigments from She Shines. There goes all my money in my wallet.

Im not sure how much in 2006, but that's definitley when it started for me. All I bought in 2005 was Parfait Amour, which was the first item of my collection. Since then I have bought a lot more, and usually end up spending about $130 for each collection. I predict the same with Lure/Bait/Hooked, maybe a bit more with She Shines, and I will probably get all 6 MSFs if budget allows in July, and then Patternmaker, lets just hope I dont like Turquatic, and that MAC will quit releasing stuff until Fall =P

depends on the collection- if there is a lot of stuff i really like, i try to sell off stuff i haven't been using to buy the new products. i do want a couple of the she shines piggies, and some of the new MSFs (if they're in colors that will suit me). I'm hoping to keep my makeup spending under $200 for the whole summer

I usually spend around $150-$200 on only because I am new to MAC this year and had almost nothing. THe most I ever spent at once was on Sweetie Cake and that was $174.00 and honestly the only this I really use from that collection is Pink Meringue lip glass!

i get on kicks.
i only get stuff online that I "know" then get new stuff, or anything unfamiliar from the fs store.
it is really hit and miss. i thought i would have gotten a lot more of the sundressing line- then irl it ended up that i didn't, but i expected the opposite from sweetiecake-mainly because the model made me feel uncomfortable, but the quad rocks my world and i am still using the heck outta blue sprinkles...
anyway it usually averages $100-150...but how often fluctuates.
my husband would die. he once found a $60 reciept and said"what do you need with $60 worth of makeup. "i said it will never happen again."
LOL, it wasn't a lie, since I never spend that little
