Olive Brush set thoughts
Ok i did a search but couldn't find a relevant topic, maybe i totally missed it, if i did i'm sorry mods!

What do people think about the Olive brush set?

For the millionth time i have changed my mind and now i am back to wanting a brush set (was thinking definetly no for awhile after hearing about bad quality). I want the Teal set as it has most of the brushes i'd like to have but i also really want the Olive one as it has the All Over Shader brush but i don't really want the 2 face brushes in that!

What is the countour brush in the Olive set like? Could it double up as a face powder brush on the go?

I really love this set since I never used a foundation brush before and this set does carry all the brushes a girl may need IMHO!

And yes, like me, you can use the 168 brush for powder!!! And I love it for that!!

Glad to hear someone likes it, i thought this set would be useless for me and so was only concentrating on the Teal one as that had lots of eye brushes and then i heard awful things about that one and i realised i'd love to have the All over shader in the Olive one and i could use the contour brush for powder whcih would be usefull for when i'm out instead of taking my massive powder brush and i could use the concealer brush for lipstick of other emmolient products and the flat definer could be used for Fludiline (would it be rubbish quality for that though?) so now i've convinced myself to get it...though i had planned to get the Olive Treasures instead when i decided i wouldn't get a brush set..so going to be gutted about not being able to get the cute Treasures set now!!

Is the All Over Shader brush slightly stiff? I thought it'd be nice and fluffy as it's big but i think it's meant to be slightly stiff?
What does everyone use the All Over Shader for? I'm thinking for all over eye area base colour and what else?

Is that the 252? It's not soft and fluffy at all-- it's flat and stiff. I bought it to use as a concealer brush, which it works quite well for. I think it would also be good for applying paint as a base. Other than that... I don't know. I don't really think it's the most versatile brush.

Yes, it's the 252, which in my opinion is too big for the lid, but useful for an all-over wash.

Nah there's loads at my counter from the stacks of it i saw a glimpse of in the stock room today! And i did get the Olive brush set today!!! Wooohoooo, i love it. Havn't tested the brushes yet but wow they look like really good quality and i love the short handles. Not crazy about the purse, why did they spoil it with the ugly 'pleather'? But i think it's a great all in one item and will save me money on brushes now.
