some MAC questions

lol sorry for all these topics asking questions on MAC, i thought up some more.

1. I'm getting Fuschia Pigment for xmas and i recently saw on the PRO site there's Bright Fuschia Pigment, whats the difference between the two? and could there be any swatches to show the differences, they appear to look the same in the pot in pics.

2. How come pigments get reformulated, and what the difference between the old pigment such as Dark Soul and the new Dark Soul?

3. Can i apply for PRO discount? I do make up jobs for my friends parties and families and also I'm a part time photographer.

4. I was looking at my MAC labels on products and i noticed some of them have AC5, AB6 etc... i know the chart goes A is first production 1-12 is the month and the rest is year, but why AC5? etc...

not sure about the other questions, but for the date code, there's only 1 digit for months, so A=oct, B=Nov, C=Dec. hence ac5=first production of decemeber 2005. me think

To be a mac pro you need to fill out an application which will include a copy of photo identification

and you choice of 2 of these things:

Composite Card

Business Card with name and specific profession

Editorial Page with name credit

Union Card Head Shot & Résumé

Professional Licence

Diploma/Certificate

Publication Masthead

Program/Press Materials w/name

Contract on production company letterhead

Crew/Call list on prod. co. letterhead

Professional letter of reference of employment

Theirs also a 35.00$ fee that you send in with the filled out application form if your denied they just destroy all the material and your not charged also If you apply for the makeup artist pro card you get a 40% disc. If you apply for any other one you get a 30% disc.

Pigments get reformed usually to improve on the texture, or they make it eye-safe/lip-safe, all that jazz.
