i actually really like that coty loose powder like they have at walgreens and other drugstores, yeah the old lady powder :P i like to use the fragrance free "luminous" formula translucent (err, that's what i think it's called). it doesn't seem to bother my skin nor is it chalky, it's fine and silky. it's cheap and it works well.

Becca Loose Finishing Powder. It really SETS the makeup. I coulden't scratch my concealer off. It took me a shower and a scrub to get THAT off.

I was just going to write that I love MUFE's shine on powder. They are releasing a bunch of new colours on the 17th. I managed to get mine early but I got shine on powder #4 and it is gorgeous. It is a light peachy pink and luminous. I used it today as my loose powder and I look so healthy, I can't believe it. They also have some Diamond cream coming out (snagged one of those too) and they are equally beautiful. MAC select loose powder is also one of my faves. It is a matte finish though.

I have a question for y'all regarding loose powders, and I have a feeling it's a stupid one.

Am I supposed to remove the seive and dip my brush directly into the powder? Because this whole time I've been shaking the thing upside down with the lid on to get powder out, and it's getting annoying.

*Waits for the laughter*

^^^ I like using the sifter so I don't use too much powder ^_^

I'm not too big on loose powders though, I use Covergirl's and it does the job, removes oil and leaves a matte face but there's not a lot of colour choices. It's really cheap though, 5-6 bucks for a TON of product.

I stocked up when Tony & Tina went out of business. Their loose powder is excellent. The rice powder is great and I love the glamour powder in Nude it has a little shimmer in it too. I was able to give up my MAC New Vegas Skinfinish when I started using this powder. I've almost emptied one.
