Nars: Turkish Red (blush, cream)

Comments: After 6+ months of wanting Turkish Red, I finally acquired it. While waiting, I purchased Revlon Cream Blush in First Blush (also a red shade).

Turkish Red is gorgeous-I'm C40 and I've found that red blush actually looks very natural on me I apply this with my Mac 190 and it's a bit dry-moreso than my other Nars cream blush in Lokoum. I find Turkish Red to be sheer but buildable, without any shimmer or glitter (a good thing). I just plain love it. Nars rubber packaging looks great but I'm keeping this in the box because it picks up just about anything on my fingers. I'm going to try using this as a lip stain too.

The reason I won't repurchase? The Revlon cream blush for slightly less than half the price of Nars is identical on me, and wears identically. I do need a bit more because the Revlon is a bit creamier but that's the only difference.

Realistically, I can't imagine running out of either the Nars or the Revlon. A little goes a very long way
