Going from Dirty Blonde to RED at home?
Am I a complete nutcase? Should I even try it? I have naturally dirty blonde hair and I have been itching to go red for a long time. Can anyone give me any advice on doing it at home? Help!

You can do it pretty easily actually.
For the first couple of days it's WEEE OOO WEEE OOO WEEE OOO siren red, but after that it fades nicely.
Try Garnier Nutrisse Hot Tamale. It's a REALLY good color.

ITA with shimmer. i'm a natural dirty blonde and i dyed my hair auburn a couple summers ago. the first couple days its MINDBLOWINGLY red, but it looks a lot more natural afterwords. i've been dying it auburn ever since! i love it.

When you dye it, rinse it out, then don't wash it for three days...that'll cut the fading a lot.
