Hair dye help needed asap :)

Ok all you hairdressers out there, I need help. I just got all my hair chopped off. Literally. It's punk spiky short. I want to colour it a nice bright colour and I have Wella colour touch in attitude which is a nice red colour. My question is that I have Colour touch mix in violet which adds violet undertones and I don't know how to add it into the colour or if I even can. My mom is a hairdresser and she says to use 1:1:1 ratio with the dye, the developer, and the mix. Normally it's 1 part dye to 2 parts developer. Is my mom right? It's been a long time since she has actually hairdressed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I really want the violet undertones.

Figured it out myself, and I must say, the colour rocks. I mixed half violet and half attitute, and my highlights went deep red, and the rest of my brown hair went violet red. I love my new haircut now
