Please help me pick out a good male hairstyle

I'm getting my hair done at Regis on Saturday and I want to get a style that makes me look more masculine because due to my long hair a lot of people mistake me as a girl. I'm not exactly sure what would look good on me so that's why I'm asking here. I have a few ideas of what I do like so please check them out and tell me what you think would look the best on me and if you have any of your own ideas please share them. I'm also posting a picture of my natural hair color so you can tell me what you think of it. Should I leave it and my eyebrows their natural color and just get my hair cut & eyebrows groomed or should I do that AND get my hair colored & eyebrows lightened?

So please look at all the photos and tell me which hairstyle, haircolor & eyebrows you think I should get. Also, if you choose a color for me that is much lighter than my natural color please tell me how I should have my eyebrows lightened (like what shade, include a picture if you can)

I'm really hoping that after I get a new hairstyle I'll be more attractive and not so feminine looking.

are you working the 'scene' style? If so it's going to give you a feminine look no matter what.
But, as far as the hairstyles go, I like number 3, an inch shorter, with hair color number 3.

Out of the pictures you posted I would say go with either the emo kid with the brown hair and piercings (sorry I can't remember the number) or the the one of Jesse (at least I think thats him...) with the iPod ear phones. As for color...I think you should keep it the same because to be honest, roots are going to be a bitch, but if you have to have the blonde hair go for that darker blonde one (the one where he's in the green shirt).

These looks might work as well...I don't know...just a thought. I tried to match your face shape up as much as possible.

and omg I love joshua jackson! and you're right, we do have very similiar face shapes. I guess a good hairstyle is all in the face shape
