Funny, what makeup can do...

Here's a funny story, about how my day was turned almost upside down just over some makeup...

I've been ordering things online like CRAZY (damn you, PayPal) lately, especially since most of the MAC items I want are LE and came out like last year. Anyway, one of the things I purchased that wasn't MAC was this Sephora tinted moisturizer in color 200. I've wanted it for so long, and everytime I go to Sephora I go look and test it out over and over, so I know exactly how color 200 looks. It's the only one that fits my skin tone! I found it on eBay for 15USD and bought it on the spot. I was so impatient, even though it took 10 days to get here (which isn't that long, really) and finally arrived today. I was ecstatic. I had been going without a base for 11 days (thus not leaving the house LOL!) and could not WAIT to try it out! Well, I squeeze some out...and it's color 100. It looked EXACTLY like color 100! Definately not 200! I was infuriated. Absolutely pissed off! The sticker said 200, but it just wasnt! However, I thought perhaps my eyes were tricking me, so that instant I went to Sephora and compared the actual colors 100 and 200 to the "200" I recieved. Just as I thought, color 100 matched exactly to the 200 I had, and the actual 200 was nothing like mine! I was so mad...to top it off, I'm pretty much broke (for makeup,anyway) until my next paycheck, and can't afford to buy another base before then, let alone any other makeup.

Being thoroughly upset, I walked my way through the rest of the mall and out of nowhere this girl totally shoulder-butted me as she walked by even though I had tried to move out of her way. I just kept walking, when I heard her yell "YOU F*&$ING B!TCH!" I just stopped in my tracks and was SO angry I started yelling back at her...it was quite the altercation. We almost got into a fight if it wasn't for her friend helping to calm her down. To be honest though, I was just mad because of my makeup still, I could care less that she pushed me and called me names LOL.

Funny how makeup has that affect on me! I was really disappointed in myself though, I usually never let myself go like that, let alone over something like makeup, but it *really* got to me. On top of that, I'm not even getting a refund! They offered to exchange it for another color 200, but I don't wanna take the risk let alone wait another 10+ days to get it. I guess I just wasted 15 bucks I could have used to buy the real thing. *siiigh*

I'm like that too, the smallest things can ruin my day and I can't even figure out why... Maybe you could sell the foundation, get your money back [or some of it] that way?
