Re: The Mother of all Train Case's ?
I called MAC and they said that I have to call back M-F to speak with a brand specialist. I super have to know about this.

Re: The Mother of all Train Case's ?
THANK YOU binkysbaby, if you get any info could you please PM me? because this is a US release i am limited to the information i can get from MAC PRO in australia..
*god bless specktra*
WOW !!! thank you for the replies ladies, I am so glad that i was not the only one drooling over this train case... hahahaha
By my understanding they have a RRP of approx $5000AUD and i will be paying $2500AUD for it, i am interested in knowing if it is a genuine mac product ( so far i am led to belive it is )
i guess that ultimately at the end of the day it is a product that has had a "name brand" sticker or badge placed on it, but my oh my this is just a super awsome case !!!!!!! and i already have a spot allocated for it hehehehe!!!

Re: The Mother of all Train Case's ?
I have bad news...
I contacted MAC and this is what I was informed:
"I have confirmation that the case is not a Pro item and it is not something that will be sold in an upcoming collection. "
Sad........so, so sad.

Re: The Mother of all Train Case's ?
It's a cabinet case that hooks up to a power source. I wouldn't pay for a MAC logo, you pick up similar ones at AU$1500 for a middle-of-the-line unit.
Last year I worked a show where the cabinet cases had their own internal water tanks. Now that was luxury.

Are there any websites that you can recommend for that sort of case/vanity/storage unit?

What's the water tank for?

I thought that I was alone.
The only thing that I know is vague from hooked*on*mac.
She said that she knows someone from the US who is getting a handful of them.
I asked her where she found the pictures with no response.
I'm sure Lara will give us some sites to check out.
I've tried looking at Australian make up sites/suppliers with no luck.
I've been looking high and low with no luck. But I promise, if I find anything out, I'll definitely post my info!

Re: The Mother of all Train Case's ?
Its more like a train and the first three cars.....not a train case. Its larger than my whole apt.

Re: The Mother of all Train Case's ?
I *suspect* that it is actually a traveling cabinet to be used at promo's & other major MAC events. I doubt it was ever sold, and if this is indeed authentic, I might wonder if it was illegally obtained. Anyone who works for MAC ever seen anything like this?
