28 neutral palette/88 palette?

are these safe to use? i want to buy one off ebayy rather than coastal scents as its really expensive for shipping on their website, i asked my mum (Seen as i have to use her ebay account) and she said that they might not be safe. Are they the exact same ones on the coastal scents website? if so isnt it illegal for the coastal scents people to sell them in the us in they have harmful things in them?
someone help me convince her? i really want some of those pallettes!

Since I'm sure no one here has performed any laboratory tests on the contents of the eyeshadows, all I can tell you is that lots of us use the palettes and no one has died yet.

And yes they are exactly the same.

yes the cs and ebay 28 and 88 palettes are the same. they're made in china but it has been widely used by gurus and makeup fanatics and there hasn't been any serious problem as of yet. the only complaint i have with the 88 palette is that some of the colors stain my brushes but that's it.

Yes, they are the same ones as on the CS website and they are safe. I have not heard of CS fakes on eBay yet.

thats what i thought, as coastal scents dont make them they simply buy them from a supplier and brand them with their logo and coastal scents wouldnt be able to sell them if they werent safe. Hmm.. i might just buy one and keep it a secrett!

Lots of what people buy is made in China, including makeup. China is a huge country and is pretty much the manufacturing center of the world.

The coastalscents palettes are OEM products from China that they simply brand and popularized. The 88 palette that I bought wasn't from CS and it's exactly the same down to the ingredients.

Safe or not... I guess the fact that thousands of people are using these palettes without claiming that the eyeshadow is harming them in anyway is reasurring?

Many cosmetics products are made in China including reputable brands such as NYX and elf. Just a matter of quality control

Sorry to hijack this thread, but it is a similar question. Are the coastal scents concealer palettes and blush palettes recommended, and is there any difference in the coastal scents ones and the ebay/china ones?

I'm looking to get the 88 palette, the concealer, and the blush, for myself in my own personal kit, not for my work one. Thanks x x

I have the double stacks, concealer, blush, 88, 120 palettes pretty much all of them. I have not had any problems with any of them.

I just ordered a 96 palette from Ebay, I was thinking about the safety of these products but if coastal scents can import them into the USA then it should be fine
