Question Bright Fuschia Pigment.
I'm thinking about buying this but I read somewhere (can't remember the site) that this color stains skin if you don't use a primer... Is that true?

Re: Bright Fuschia Pigment.
I wore it on Super bowl sunday, since it's the closest to red (for the Cardinals) that I own. I used UDPP and it came off no problem.

I got some on my hand and it came off with soap and water and didn't leave a stain.

YMMV.

Re: Bright Fuschia Pigment.
eeeek. lol ya it stains lids. but i have really fair skin, i'm lighter than an nw15...and i used a primer...and i took it off with oil-based makeup remover and my lid was pink. this happened to me with teal pigment too...i used it wet over a primer and then my eyelid was green...

Re: Bright Fuschia Pigment.
I think it depends on your skin tone.
I've had no problems with staining in the summer when I'm fairly tan, but sometimes in the winter when I'm pale it does. But definitely not enough to get me to stop using it! =]

Re: Bright Fuschia Pigment.
It has never stained my eyes (and I have super pale skin)
It's not considered eye safe though
Check out Ben Nye Azalea eyeshadow - the color is the same but eyesafe!

Re: Bright Fuschia Pigment.
i'm super pale and it did stain me, even with a primer.. i used it on my eyes (you are not supposed to use it there, though - just a heads up), on my lips and even my cheeks once and it stained.. it did not bother me much though, it washed away in a day or two and other make up did cover it up,

Re: Bright Fuschia Pigment.
Bright Fuschia isn't eye safe so be careful. I've used it on my eyes and haven't had a problem but I've made sure to use a primer so it stick well and then I set it with Fix +. And no contacts that day, just my funky specs!

I am a darky (nw45) and it stained my lids even with 2 primers (udpp & pp) but that doesn't stop me. That thing is just too gorgeous. Hey even MUFE 92 stain my lids when I wear it beyond 8 hours.

Re: Bright Fuschia Pigment.
Yep along with other pigment colors. I've never had it stain my eyes though but I use a lot of primer/base ( I also have light skin). It has stained my arm while doing a arm swatch but came off in a day. MAC has certain colors that they say are not eye safe and this is one of the reasons but personally I've never had any problems with any of their pigments on my eyes. There are colors I dont wear but thats because of my personal preference of textures.

MUFE #92 stain my lids too and I use UDPP or Paint stick in Ploished Ivory- but I can handle a little staining that color is to die for
