I edited the list to reflect the information provided by you guys just to be safe. Changed Silver to include given batchnumber, Platinum to not eye safe, and Pastorale to not lip safe. Thanks!

just wondering...I bought some Style W. products..the two that I bought were the solar bits..Impassioned and the lipgloss the dark color..it was sold out so I ordered it there..I asked the MAC person if I could use the Impassioned on my lips and she said automatically yes...I checked the box and it read safe for cheeks and eyes..but nothing about the lips..Now why would she say yes you can use on your lips when it shouldn't be..It 's the same color as the lipgloss that I ordered..I wanted to use this solar bit in a clear gloss til my ordered gloss arrived..

Well, the poster did not say where she got the info saying Silver & Platinum are not eye safe. IMO they should not go on the list w/o knowing where the information came from & if it's a reputable source.

Grrrr! I just used Platinum and Silver on my eyes last night (I should have read this b4 using)! Both are so gorgeous with Platinum being a possible HG eye shadow!!!! Platinum did give me some eye irritation (not badly thou).

OMG, thank you so much. I think I have all of the MAC pigments and I never knew that they're not specificaly safe for certain areas of the face.

Notes: I REALLY hope this information hasn't been posted yet because it took me SO long to type it out and color code the safety info!! This information should be useful if made sticky by the mods! I will keep this updated as more pigments are released, or I'll PM a mod to update if it becomes locked! Hope this info helps!

i've updated the latest product safety info and included new and missing shades in bold.

don't ask me what colours universal mix and rich life are. the update includes the new pro expansion colours cyan and magenta, so who knows.

they can be used on the lips, but they're an eye and face product. its like how blush is a face product, but can be used on the eye. or how eye kohl is an eye product, but can be used on the lips (unless otherwise noted of course).
