$100 to Spend

Hey everyone!

So I have a $100 gift card to Holt Renfrew and I'm thinking that I may just buy some cosmetics with it... I'm not too familiar with the brands they have but the one here carries Bobbi Brown, Chanel, Dior, Clinique, Estee Lauder, Lancome, Laura Mercier, Prescriptives and YSL for cosmetics. I don't really need foundation, primer or blush. Just wondering if there is anything worth checking out in regards to eyeshadows, eyeliners, and lip glosses from these brands. If not I may just spend the money on an item of clothing. Thanks in advance! Oh and I am an NC37 for reference.

Lancome has some amazing mascaras...I like Hypnose but there are others to choose from. I really like that brand a lot, in general. Juicy tubes are great lipglosses I love.

I really like Clinique's lip liners...they are soft, apply smooth. I have it in "hint of pink" and it's great as a base for a lot of neutral and pink colors.

Bobbi Brown has great lipsticks and concealers...and some nice neutral e/s too. Estee Lauder....some nice lippies.

I don't know Chanel all that well, but my mom had an amazing foundation by them a couple of years back...They also have great lipstick and lipgloss...

I think you should grab some items from bobbi brown, nars (since they have there complete line there) and shu umera (sp?) simply because all the sephora's do not carry the brand or have the complete line! When I go to holts I try to grab those products. Lancome and stuff you can get at sephora and the bay, even I think at sears. Spend your money on things you know you can't get anywhere else plus its free!

Bobbie brown has a great black liner and some great concealers and foundations like the girl said above.

Nars: You have there complete range in blushes and eyeshadows and I know some Bay's have it too but still. I say grab some blushes! Depending on your skin tone there are tons of great blushes and lipsticks and glosses. Usually Nars has some sort of gift promotion to so check that out as well! Hmm...what else can I tell you!

Thanks for the advice guys, I really appreciate it =) . I don't think that the Holt where I live carries NARS or shu umera, highonmac. It's too bad because I really wanted to try NARS blushes but I guess I could always go to Sephora for that even though they don't carry the whole line. I'm thinking of getting stuff from Bobbi Brown since I didn't even realize that they carried this line in Edmonton (Seriously, I just found out!) Anything good from Prescriptives?
