Blending color for NC 20?
Hello everyone,
I`m looking for a blending color to use between the crease es and highlight es, to smooth the transition. I want a color lighter than cork, not as orangey as tet a tint. I don`t want it very frosty. Any ideas?
Thanx

If you have a face powder, that works perfectly fine.
But Brule is a good choice, too. I use Blanc Type but it's a bit lighter than my skin tone, works well though.

Re: Blending color for NC 20?
I use the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Medium. Blends right into my skintone and makes the crease colour transition suuuper smoothly...the best part was that I didn't have to go out and buy a skin-tone e/s

Brule. I use Vanilla, but it's lighter than my skintone (I'm an NC15-ish).

Re: Blending color for NC 20?
I think brule and blanc type are quite similar. I use brule but I think it`s a little light.

How is texture as a blending es?blends well?
I don`t have any of these es: era, grain, arena and others in the same range.Does anyone use some of these for blending?
Msfn not a bad idea
Thank you all for your input

Re: Blending color for NC 20?
I've been using Wedge as my crease colour, but that might be similar to Cork. If you're looking for something lighter, maybe Omega? Both are mattes.

Re: Blending color for NC 20?
I love Omega and Era for blending out a crease, depending on the look I'm going for. Usually I use a lighter version of the crease color, but if I'm going more natural, or doing a brown/black smokey eye, I'll use Omega for a matte blend, and Era for a slightly shimmery blend. HTH!

I am an NC15, so maybe that's why you think Brule is too light for what you want? And Era is nice, but I mostly use it to blend out smokey eyes (e.g. when I use Satin Taupe), because then it is too dark for me.

And I loved the MSFN tip, tried it yesterday

Re: Blending color for NC 20?
^ My face is a little darker than nc 20, I`m not nc 25, that`s too dark, but my neck is lighter than my face so if I use Nc 20 it blends better it suits well
I think I`ll try era it`s so hard to buy es without seeing them, no Mac in Romania
If wedge is anything similar to cork, I`ll pass it cause I have cork and soba, they look like fraternal twins, don` t need triplets
I think I read in the dupes thread a while ago that Soft Brown and Tet a tint are dupes(or was it the swatch forum) and I think tet a tint it`s a little to orangey.... jeez i`ll have my license in mac eyeshadows

Re: Blending color for NC 20?
I was looking for a box in my traincase(i only keep stuff I don`t use in there) and I found a broken kid es(depot accident) and I said why not. It worked great so if you have it and you`re similar in shade with me you might want to give this a try
