Smile Good coverage oil free Foundation
I've been wearing very light (or no) foundation during the day, but I really want to get a heavy coverage foundation for going out @ nigh/special events. I really like the smooth, even look a heavier coverage foundation can give you & I was hoping someone could help recommend one I'm looking for good coverage, & an oil free liquid (or cream) higher end formula. Also, I was thinking about possibly getting a Lancome foundation...anyone have any opinions on their foundations? Thanks so much!!!

Bobbi Brown Oil-Free foundation is excellent. Beautiful texture, great color selection, matte and smooth.

Laura Mercier oil-free is nice, and has very good coverage. I actually tend to have to tone it down with a damp sponge, as it's a bit more coverage that I'd like.

i used a lancome foundation (an oil-free matte one - i can't remember the name) years ago and had some sort of allergic reaction to it but the quality was good if i remember correctly. mac is coming out w/ a new oil-free liquid foundation this thursday (i think), so that might be worth a try too! the early buzz is that it is really nice

I like Bobbi Brown's oil-free liquid too. I like that I can build coverage with it. Good color selection. Get a sample first. I'm a big believer in getting samples of foundation before I take the plunge, esp. w/dept. store brands, so I don't have to worry about returning if it doesn't work out for me.

Yeah on Thursday MAC is coming out with Studio Liquid Fix Foundation!! I'M SOO EXCITED! I stopped by my nearest counter the other day and one of the MA's was already wearing it and she told me usually she has to blot her face a few times a day but when I saw her it was closing time and she hadn't touched her face since that morning's makeup application! And it had beautiful coverage too! I own MAC's Full Coverage Foundation, which I love for when I go out, but you also have to get the #180 brush with it to buff it out. I'm so excited for Thursday!!
