how to find the perfect red lipstick{like gwen)

oh sorry and thank you for moving it! I have tried various brands recently i bought a red lipgloss from avon i think what i need is a red lipgloss with a blue tone base

If you want a soft but blue red gloss Scandal by Nars is gorgeous.
For a more in your face red, try Russian Red (seen in Dopesickgirls avatar)
It looks stunning.

High Bred Red is also a beautiful blue toned red, but that was a limited edition in the Red Haute collection. It's worth looking out for though.

I strongly suggest going to a counter and trying colors out on your hand, as red can be a tough shade to find that stays true on some skintones.

I second Viva Glam I!!! Red Haute was a great collection....too bad it was LE. But if you can find it sometimes at the CCO's if you come across Red Haute l/s and V-Red l/g grab it!!! I love that color combo. HTH

Definetly look out for V-Red lipglass, it's my favorite red lipgloss! I'm very cool toned, so no orange toned lippies work on me. However, Russian Red and Ruby Woo work on me.

I'm an NC35, and I found that no orange or blue toned reds really suit me. So now I tend to choose berry, burgundy, or wine shades of 'red'.

I think Gwen used to wear Gash by Urban Decay, but it's D/Ced.
You may be able to find it on ebay though.

Russian Red by MAC has a blue under tone, i think.
It is such a beautiful red colour and its matt, which i also love, but if you want something shiny/glossy then just put a plain gloss over it.
