Need MAC e/s recs that look good with green eyes.
I know purple is suppose to bring out the green in eyes, but I don't look good wearing purple or I haven't found the right one. My hair is medium-dark warm brown, brown sugar highlights, green eyes, light-medium skin tone closer to medium and my skin is neutral-warm, with slight rosiness in cheeks. I usually wear neutral-warm toned makeup. Any suggestions on colors to make my green eyes stand out? Thanks!

I can't wear purples too easily either, here are my suggestions for colours that really bring out my green eyes:

Expensive Pink
Star Violet
Coppering

A lovely neutral that really works is NARS Ondine as well. Its got purply tones but is subtle enough and brown enough that its easy to wear.

Its actually red that is the opposite of green and therefore will make it stand out the most. The more yellow green your eyes are the better purple will be (as far as the intensifying effect, what suits you in general is more complicated than that) and the more blue they are the more red/orange will make them stand out.

Red e/s might seem intimidating but it really doesn't have to be a true red, just red tones. I find pairing it with golds, bronzes & flat warm browns neutralizes the pink-eye or irritated skin effect.

HTH!

Try Shale at a counter. I have dark brown hair and hazel-green eyes and Shale makes them absolutely pop. It's a purpley-gray.

I also wear browns to make my eyes stand out. Kid (veluxe) is a nice medium-brown color (it reminds me of a chocolate milkshake) that I wear almost daily.

I agree with experimenting with the brown/gold shades.
My eyes are hazel and turn an amazing green when I wear Amber Lights, I love to pair it with Trax in the crease and Orb to highlight

Plum Dressing or Hepcat

Coppering, Amber Lights

Not an e/s, but Foxy Lady e/l is awesome on green eyes!

Re: Need MAC e/s recs that look good with green eyes.
I hate purple eyeshadows too! It doesn't look very appropriate for day wear to me. I feel like a hooker!! I have the "Spiced Chocolate" eyeshadow quad from MACs "Cult of Cherry" collection & works very well for me. I find myself using the "Sweet Chestnut" alone all the time. If you can get your hands on this, I'm sure you'll like it!

I know it's not MAC but I also have Clinique's 05 Créme Brulée color surge eye shadow trio & whatever the middle color is, it's gorgeous & makes green eyes really stand out.

Woodwinked is absolutely unbelievable on my green eyes. I'm amazed every time I wear it - it works better to bring out my eyes than plums do, but purpley colours work as well. But Woodwinked is the best I've found!

I've got green eyes too, and as far as purples, I find that the ones with more red than blue make my eyes really stand out...as well as Sushi Flower and Passionate.

I agree with ForgetRegret the purples with more red tones are the way to go if you want green eyes to pop. I don't have green eyes myself, I have brown but they have the tiniest hint of green and an MUA suggested Star Violet to me to bring out the green and it actually works.
