Vegas Volt answered the question I had been wondering about- Is there a perfectly ORANGE lipstick out there that is not RED or YELLOW?

Vegas Volt has no shimmer in it, but it is a brilliant melon - crayon orange cross. No yellow that makes it pale out cooler complexions, Vegas Volt is a beautiful color.

I use it with all kinds of different liners- dark brown shaded liner makes it look really classy, magenta makes it look bright but gives it depth, red shaded liner makes it look more red, and you can use gold eye pencil to give it that royal look.

Using interference pigments over it is also lots of fun. Green interference gives it a nice shimmer, turquoise interference pigment gives it a tropical look, and white gold pigment (not from MAC, but it has tiny gold microglitter) makes this look awesome.

Copper interference is great, as is chartreuse pro gloss.

This color is a lot of fun to work with. I love it.

this looks bright orange with a red tinge in the tube. my lips are pretty pigmented, so it comes out more red than orange on me, which i was a little disappointed with, but it still look sooooo good! it's a great bright color to wear and it has great lasting power.l

I bought this online because I thought it would be more of a fuschia-ey orange, but no, my lips are so pigmented and the colour goes so bright and it looks ridiculous. I haven't played around with it yet, and I think if I was more tan and maybe made it more pinky it would look better. I have no idea. lol.

I am fond of coral lipcolors and bough this along with Raquel lipglass to wear during the summer. This is a very strong, bright, orange toned coral, but can be sheered out a bit when applied sparingly. On my lips it looks exactly like it looks in the tube, and I enjoy a bright lipcolor that's neither red nor hot pink. I don't use it often, but I'd probably buy again if I run out.
