Would you buy this product again? YA THINK!!!
Oh my word. This product is amazing. I'm SO glad it has lived up to the hype! The texture is wonderfully smooth and feels like velvet. It feels wonderful on my skin and the coverage is just perfect imho. The coloring is different from the compact tho. In the compact i'm C6, but in the fluid i'm NC45. Doesn't matter thos cos I love it! It's not too heavy, and it's definitely buildable. The finish is AWESOME! Honestly, my skin looks flawless. It gives a soft yet matte finish that I love, plus it has spf in it which is GREAT! I used it just now with the 187 brush and oh mah gah.. I love this!!

Would you buy this product again? i only have a sample, but def buying it
this foundation is awsome. i usually HATE HATE HATE liquid foundations or any kind. the thought of liquid foundations make me break out... lol. but when i went to MAC the MA kinda talked me into taking a sample at least. so i got it (NC35 is my exact color... how awsome is that???) anyways, so i try it on sat night and it was so smooth and silky. i went out and the color stayed on ALL night (and my ass was sweating), then i used it sunday and it was raining and i know that some rain has to have fallen on my face but it didnt mess up my makeup (that was either pure luck or awsome foundation- which was pretty much all i was wearing)... and it makes my skin look soooooo flawless and my skin can breath. and it doesnt even feel like ur wearing nething. i actually like it better than my be foundation... AWSOME!!!

Would you buy this again? Unbelievably, YES
I am the biggest hater of foundation on the planet yet this stuff ROCKS!
My shade for this is NW25 and it's perfect-o...can't find where it begins or ends even in the harshest light.
No oilies, not cakey...I apply with a damp wedge sponge, and then take a clean damp washcloth and just gently press (no wiping or rubbing) it onto my face all over to make sure it's a completely soft natural look.

Would you buy this product again? OF COURSE!!!!
The only reason I give the packaging a 4 is because I hate glass containers for makeup especially when traveling!!
I have dry skin with an oily forehead and this stuff goes on so wonderfully! It's sooo smooth. My boyfriend will touch my face and hes like wow what is that he compares it to a baby's butt..

This foundation is my perfect match, NC15. It goes on smoothly and controls my oilies really well. I like it better than my Chanel DPF compact foundation. It really gives me a flawless look. Love it.

Would you buy this again? For sho!!!
This has to be the most amazing liquid foundation known to man! Now i will say that i haven't tried to many other brands, but hey if it ain't broke.... Anyway it feels heavenly on the skin like velvet. It is soooo smooth and makes the skin look flawless. The mua applied on me using the 190 brush and the nc45 matched perfectly and didn't give that heavy mask look like other liquid foundation and it doesn't look like a mask. i then went home and used the 187 to apply and wow it is even better!! the staying power is amazing and it looks fresh all day! a little bit goes a looong way and compared to the prices of other high end foundations this one's a steal! mac did the damn thang when they came out with SFF!!

To be honest, I don't really see the likeness to Studio Fix compact, but as a foundation in it's own right, I really liked this product. It made the skin look a little brighter and photo-shoot worthy, and was very comfortable to wear, and it felt like veluxe

Would you buy this product again? Sadly, no
First off, let me say that when I had this foundation on, my skin looked flawless. It has a great texture and blends easily. This would easily be my HG foundation. Unfortunately, I am horribly allergic to it and it had to go back. I simply cannot wear any liquid that has titanium dioxide in it. I know that adding it is great for sun protection, but it sucks for people like me that have allergies to titanium dioxide.

This is the best foundation I have ever used. It leaves my face looking flawless and controls my oily skin. The NC15 was a perfect match.
The only thing I don't like about it is the glass bottle beacuse I'm clumsy and tend to drop things but I will overlook that problem because I like the product so much.

Would you buy this product again? YES and I have never said that about any foundation!
This stuff rocks. It blends effortlessly and the coverage is pretty good for my oily, large pore, sensitive, rosacea face. And that is saying alot. I got it in NW20 and it looks very natural. It keeps my face from looking like an oil slick (I also set with the loose blot powder) and I barely have to touch up during the day. Finally a foundation that does what it is supposed to do!

I tried it on today and it looks and feels fantastic. NW20 was the shade for me and it lived up to all the reviews I've been reading! Unfortunately, after about 10 minutes my skin got a little red and itchy so I don't know if that was the foundation or a coincidence. Going to give it a go again tomorrow and see how it goes, but I really hope it doesn't break me out because it feels fantastic!

so i didn't know what to think about this stuff when i first heard about it. i rarely use my powder studio fix, because i really hate the texture and coverage. well, i decided to give the liquid a try and its AMAZING on, very buildable, like they advertised, and the coverage is flawless. the shades are slightly off from normal studio fix, so i'd recommend a sample of it, or at least a good color-matching from a MA. looks the best when paired with fix+ and loose blot powder, and applied with the 187 brush. still, one of the best foundations i've ever tried, and certainly the best MAC foundation, hands down. only thing i'm not crazy about is the bottle...but the foundatioon pump from the freestanding store fixed that!

This may have great coverage, maybe even a little too much for me (I apply it with a damp sponge to compensate). I am very pale (NC15) with dry, sensitive skin, and this looked and felt wonderful on top of moisturizer and prep and prime.
It does look nice on if sheered down, alas, it also causes red splotches on my cheeks that get scaly.
I had the same reaction to MoistureBlend Foundation, but not to either Hyperreal or Full Coverage.
Perhaps its not suited to my ultra sensitive skin?
Bummer.
Giving this away to my dry skinned, NC15 daughter. It looks really pretty on her, too, and her skin is not as sensitive.

NC40 is my best friend for life, use it alone for a flawless matt finish,, or make it look dewy by using a lil bit of Strobe cream underneath it. ahhhh im in love

I am very disappointed in this product. I bought this based on the suggestion of a MAC MA. She told me it was excellent for dry, sensitive skin. It was horrible. It dried out my already dry skin and also badly irritated it. My skin became flakey, red and irritated in no time. It settled into lines I didn't even know I had! The wear didn't last long during the day and it became blotchy. I even got comments from a coworker the very first day I wore it (who isn't very nice anyway) telling me I looked aged. And I am in my 20's! The color selection wasn't good either. NC15 is a bit too light and NC20 is too dark. If the color selection was the only problem, I would of been thrilled. It's a shame because the coverage is good, but that's about it.
Lucky are those who can wear this.
UPDATE: 7/5/06
I spoke to another MAC MA at another counter about giving this a 2nd try. She told me that this formula is not for dry skin at all and to stay away from it. I asked her why I was told it was okay for dry skin originally and she told me that it could of been the other girl just wanted to make a sale. :/

I am in LOVE with SFF! At first I had the "mask-look" problem that some other people stated above, but I have learned the trick! After moisturizing and priming skin, I spary Fix+ on my face and apply SFF (sheered down just a little w/ water) with a wedge sponge. I finish with a buffer brush and blot powder all over. After I apply blush and bronzer, I spritz my face with Fix+ to set. The coverage is sublime, but the look and feel is FAR from a Halloween mask!

Would u buy this product again? Yes. it's the best foundation i've tried.
I normally do not put on foundations. but i got this after hearing many raves from girls in another beauty forum i frequent. After using it, i must say that this foundation IS good. Firstly, it is NOT thick like cement as some foundations are, after applying to your face. Secondly, it DOES NOT cake nor oxidise much on my face. I like this for its medium coverage - not too thick and yet not too sheer either. When i use this foundation...i can skip my concealer altogether. Will buy again after i finish this bottle. I minus 2 points for the packagin is because it doesn't come with a pump (well...the MA told me they were out of stock for pumps) and this means...wastage of foundation for me. i tend to overpour...sighs. MAC should just pack in the pump with every fluid foundation they sell.

i LOVE this foundation, it's definately the best i've tried. a good range of colours and perfectly buildable coverage, long lasting and doesn't streak. the only problem i have with it is that my foundation brush doesn't fit too well in the jar

I have two sample containers full of it, so I'll see how long this lasts me (I'll be heading to mac for a muse). but OH WOW this foundation is amazing! I'm usually not a fan of liquid because of the feeling but wow this is something else. my skin has never looked so good! the coverage is great for every day, but I can tell its buildable too. spf is wonderful too, just gotta watch my camera settings so I don't turn white haha. hopefully I wont break out (got a wedding to attend on saturday haha)

I tried it on right after I got it, and my word, this stuff is POWER TO THE MAX. Wonderful coverage and I love how my skin looks so naturally flawless with just a small bit of foundation! I usually have to use a large amount of my regular foundation to get any coverage at all, and I hate caking my face with stuff, and now I totally regret not getting this sooner.

I loved it at first. Great coverage, good for oily skin, nice sun protection. I never could find my exact shade though and it broke me out. After I stopped using it, my face cleared up almost immediately. If your skin isn't sensitive and oily and too light then this would be great.

Would you buy this product again? Yes. Definitely.
I love this stuff. I recently lost my make up bag containing my studio fix compact. I went to the opening of the new counter in Plymouth and decided to try out the Studio Fix fluid. I had a few really red sore spots (the stress of losing my make up bag) and the MUA managed to get them to disappear! I was so impressed. I bought the foundation (and Select Cover up and Sheer Pressed Powder). I tried it myself the following day, and it has taken me a little while to get the hang of applying it correctly, but I think I am there... I use a foundation brush, dot the foundation with my fingers on my face then use the brush to blend it. I get a flawless, light feeling medium ish coverage, that you seriously can't tell that it is foundation.
My skin can be very sensitive but largely responds to stress. This has helped clear my skin because I am not worrying about how it looks.
