Would you buy this product again? Possibly
I got this right after they came out, after being highly recommended by one of my fav MA. He put it on, and it was fabulous. I bought it, took it home, and OMG. Perhaps it was just a bad batch, but it was totally off color. I'm NW15 barely, and mine was a shade or two darker. It looked flawless, but make it impossible to blend since I'm so pale. Holding my Select SPF besides it made it that much more obvious. Very sad!!
The texture itself was great, as was the weight. I only wore it about twice, so I never had an issue with breaking out.
Packaging was only a 3 because I wish they would just put a pump on them in the first place, but oh well. It's only $3 extra.
I might buy another one, if only to see if the color is correct.
Overall, the product is very nicely made and great, but if the colors are the way they were with the first batches, I would not get this again.

Would you buy this product again? I have three bottles!
Made by MAC after Linda Evangelista requested a matt liquid foundation, this foundation is possibly the best I have ever bought. You can build up the coverage by applying light layers, and the finish is flawless, matt without looking cakey/unnatural and leaves skin soft. I buff it into the skin with the 190 foundation brush. Looks beautiful when you apply studio fix powder over it.

Seeing as I was so impressed with Studio Fix powder, and you all loved this, I decided to give the fluid a shot.
I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!!! It gives that flawless, matte finish using just the tiniest amount, and covers every little imperfection. The only thing that bums me out is the sunscreen does contain titnium dioxide, and I wish the bottle came with a pump.
My favorite combination for flawless skin? Smashbox Photofinish, MAC Studio Fix Fluid and MAC Studio Fix Powder. ABSOLUTE PERFECTION, LADIES!

This is the first MAC foundation I've ever tried. After reading a lot of good reviews on makeupalley, I went to MAC to get it. The SA recommended using Hyper real though because he thought it would be too thick for me. But that day my local MAC counter had a make-up seminar and makeup artist Dave Stella recommended Studio fix so I bought it. My color: NW 25. It *perfectly* matches my skin tone. I always used to buy foundations that were slightly darker, but not anymore!
It goes on very well and it isn't as nearly as thick as I thought it would be. It mattifies my skin very well, has a great coverage and stays in place the whole day.
But I'm only using it for a few days, and I got a few nasty spots around my nose. Maybe it's because I'm having my periods? I hope I won't have to update this review!

Would you buy this product again? Maybe.
Since I really love my studio fix powder foundation (but I hate the way it gets gunky and gross after a couple of weeks) I decided to give this a try. The MA matched me in the store as NC30, but when I got home the color was waaay too dark, so I took it back and got NC25. It looks a lot better, but still has a yellowish tint that I'm not really fond of. Maybe I will try NC20 and see if that looks less yellow on me.
Despite the color issues, I really like this foundation overall. A little goes a looong way for me and one setback is that I have to blend alot to get it to look good. I usually dab it on with my fingers, spread it out with the 190 and blend with the 187 (I'm kind of anal about blending, hehe). It stays all day and looks matte on my skin. It doesn't cause any pimple problems, like regular usage with Studio Fix powder does either.

Would you buy this again? Totally, already did actually!
Originally I had wanted the Face & Body but the MAC counter I went to didn't carry it so the girl there put this stuff on me instead. I went to work the next day and got so many compliments. This stuff is awesome. Really evens out my skin tone without looking cakey.

I totally love this and I never thought I could say that about a foundation. I've tried so many and can never get my colour match. This goes on so well and stays there when it's set with a little bit of the natural MSF and I was so surprised I barely had any oilies and unlike other SPF foundations it didnt dissapear or get blotchy in some areas, go yellow and break me out (this is my second time wearing it, fingers crossed). Although the price is a little steep it's something I'd wear everyday and my skin is now one less thing for me to worry about.

i have to say that this got to be my favourite liquid foundation. It has AMAZING lasting power, though its a little too thick. i tend to break out sometimes, (it might be that it blocks my pores?), but then again, i apply it day in day out.
I look like i have flawless complexion, with this liquid foundation on. its amazing

I absolutely love this foundation. It lasts all day, evens out my skintone and has a lovely matte finish.
I was dubious about trying this foundation to begin with but I am so glad I decided to try it. After a few years of trying average foundations I really feel like ive found my hg.
I apply it with my 187 brush and then lightly dust some studio fix powder over the top with my 150 brush which creates a lovely matte flawless finish
A word of warning is that when you first apply this foundation it can tend to look a little orange but once you blend it out properly and really buff it into the skin it looks amazing!

would you buy again? yeps
i really like this foundation. i apply it wit the 187 or 188. i just squeeze a pump onto the back of my hand and use my finger to "dot" my face withit. then take the 187 or 188 (whichever one's closer ) and stipple it and then buff it. it gives my face this soft glow and it doesn't look cakey at all and has good coverage also. the only thing i don't like is that it doesn't come with a foundation pump. But i bought one for like 4 bucks so i gues it wasn't that bad. AND i haven't broken out even though i use this everyday

I Love The Bottle And How It Looks Im a NC40 I Have Oily-Skin. Amazingly Controls My Oily-ness ( I Use Blot/Press Powder During The Day Over It Too ). The Only Complaint I Have Is: It Makes Me Break Out. I Have A Special Medicine I Use To Get Rid Of Acne I Hadn't Used For Awhile Cause I Wasn't Breaking Out But When I Started Using This I Started Breaking Out Again ( Usual I Keep It For Summer/Fall Which Is Like The Only Time I Break Out ) So Now I Just Have To Start Using That Again But Its Okay. I Love This Coverage.

The best foundation money can buy, but I have one problem, it Broke me out too. My face looks photoshoped, fantastic, covers everything, does not shine through during the day. You can do a lot with very little product, it can easily be applied with fingers, sponges or brushes. Medium to full coverage.
but…my cheeks are disaster after one week, like chicken pox

Didn't provide me the coverage that the powder gave me, but was a bit more comfortable to wear. Has good staying power with Prep+Prime. If you buy it, I suggest you get a pump for it as well. Didn't break me out.

I went to MAC and ask for a foundation that could help cover up my red and brown pimples scars. It really does a decent job of covering most of the scars, except of darker ones that I need concealer to conceal with. I don't use it everyday, just 2-3 times per week and I love it because it has the coverage that I want and is thick enough give a consistant colour for my face. So far, it don't give me breakouts. Oil control wise is quite alright, maybe because I put on loose powder to set it. I would definitely buy again if I finished this bottle. One thing I want to rant and that they never give me the pump for my foundation and I must use a spatula to scoope out the foundation.

So I first tried this a few months ago at the beginning of my MAC addiction. I did this mainly to get colormatched, as I already had a "good" (or so I thought) foundation. The SA applied it on with a sponge. I told her that I'd think about it after hearing it's price (I was new to MAC, remember?) and so she wrote down the color; NW20. I bought it later that day but it just didn't seem to match my skin when I got home. However, I went back today and had her try NW15. It's not the color of my face but the color of my neck. It looks flawless now!
I apply this with a 168 brush (sounds weird but this actually works) and then I set it with blot powder with a 150-like brush.

Would you buy this product again? Always!
I've been using this product for 4 years. I've tried soo many foundations. You name it. Lancome, Dior, Vincent Longo, Clinique, Estee Lauder, Drugstore foundations.. etc. This always worked the best for me. No matter what new makeup I try, I always come back to this. I use the 187 brush and my makeup always looks flawless. Fix Fluid set with a translucent powder = foundation that lasts all day.

Would you buy this product again: HECK YEAH!!
I gotta say that I LOVE this foundation!! IMO I think it's the best one out there in terms of coverage. This is my HG foundation and I have tried others. (like the d/s brands) I can't and refuse to pay so much for a HE foundation that doesn't have enough coverage but this.....is AMAZING . I will continued to buy this because I know that I'm not gonna find anything that matches my skin perfectly. I LOVE IT!!!!!!

First of all, this is my HG foundation. The reason I originally bought this foundation was because I had a lot of breakouts and wanted something that helped conceal those in one step. Come to find out that it was actually fantastic, except... when all the breakouts went away after I invested in better skin care, I noticed that my shade was off. Come to find out that, indeed, my foundation was an inaccurate match. I switched to Studio Fix powder, which was fine. Now, going back to Studio Fix Fluid, I can't remember why I strayed. It doesn't break me out, it has fantastic coverage, and looks totally natural when I set it with MSF Natural. I'll buy this again and again and again.

Would you buy this again?: Definitely
I've gone through so many different foundations, foundation-concealer combos, and powders, and was never satisfied with the results. They were either too cakey, too heavy, or made it look like I had makeup on (a definite no for a guy). At my last photo-shoot, however, my makeup artist introduced me to MAC, and I fell in love. Unfortunately, the foundation she used has since been discontinued. So I made a trip to the MAC counter a little while ago and the SA put this on me, as well as some Select Moisturecover under my eyes. I have to say, it looked fantastic. Unless I got within a few inches of the mirror, the makeup was undetectable (and seriously, who's gonna be looking at me that closely?). The coverage was very sheer, but still gave my skin an even tone with lots of depth and a slightly dewy, though mostly matte look. I was assured that it was buildable, as well, which I have come to find out it true. For day-to-day use, I'd suggest stippling and blending it with MAC's 187, and for those days when just a bit more coverage is needed, or for covering up a really red spot, use the 190, and then buff, buff, buff with the 181 or 182 and a bit of translucent powder (you should do this after either method of application). So far, I haven't broken out more than is normal for me (which isn't much), and I absolutely love this product's ability to cover up those occasional problem areas flawlessly. The packaging is very chic, though it seems they could have used a slightly thinner glass jar to case it. A foundation pump should have been included as well (you can buy a separate one for about $4.00, though).
Some extra tips: - Blend with a tiny bit of water before using if you only need a very light amount of coverage. This will save you a ton of foundation and keep it from appearing cakey.
- To achieve a more dewy, radiant look, blend 2 parts foundation with one part Strobe Cream.
- Buff a little translucent powder on your entire face before application to help set the foundation, keep it from caking, and achieve a more natural, even look (this method will also help it stay longer, and keep from running.)
- Buff a tiny amount of translucent powder over your entire face 5-10 minutes after applying the foundation for a very chic, matte look.
- Dab a little Strobe Cream (half a pea-size) onto the apple of each cheek about 2 minutes after application. Lightly stipple and tap into and around this area, making sure not to rub. This will help to achieve a very radiant, healthy glow.
Hopes this turns someone onto this amazing product!

Would you buy this product again? No.
After seeing all the rave reviews on this foundation, I decided to try and give it a go. The MUA at the MAC counter put on NC15 on me (I'm verrry pale, I need to mix my NW15 StudioFix Powder with white to get it to match, and even then it's a bit off) and it looked great in the (very well lit) shop. By the time I'd gotten home though, I realized that it was about 10 shades too dark for me, it also had turned orange and oxidized D: this has happened every time I've tried to use it and in the end I've just given up in disgust. So disappointed!
