General Comments on this product: This is my first ever foundation, the SA really helped me choose something that would be easy and quick to apply (I think foolproof was what I specified ) and this product delivered on all fronts! I was advised to apply it with a brush (#187) which makes it super easy. I have worn this product for full day shifts at work with no problem - it lasts and lasts

I have oily forehead, nose and chin, so this foundation is perfect for me! Its not cakey, easy to use, good choice of color, and don't feel heavy on the skin. For people who hate it because it highlight dry skins, spray Fix + over it!

I really like studiofix... I have combination skin so my t-zone tends to be oily. The color choices are good, and the formulation is just right. I use my trusty 136 brush which gives me a nice sheer application to help even out my skin tone... I've never used it with the puff that comes with it cos it looks too cakey. To help when the oil starts creeping back out, A quick dab of blot powder and I'm good to go..

Guess i have to be the first one to say that i hate this product. It sits on my combo skin and changes colour as the day goes on, getting orangy by the end; it made me breakout and made me more oilier than ever. The only good thing is the packaging and the fact that they have a great colour selection. But YMMV.

This is a great foundation at first, very easy to apply, and after I suddenly had some breakouts, I figured it must be a hormonal thing. But then I went to MUA and wondered why I couldn't find a lot of positive reviews about this.
Just like what happened to a lot of girls I read reviews of on MUA, this stuff clogged my pores, with breakouts as result. This might work for people, but when you buy this, save the package an the receipt, so you can get your money back when you get breakouts from it!!

I really like StudioFix. I like the coverage and I like the color range. There's no smell, and it doesn't oxidize on my slightly oily skin. I also can't blame this for my breakouts, because when I breakout, it's never after wearing this. I love the coverage for everyday and for stage, and it blends nice over cream concealers, which is a problem I've had with other powder foudations.

I LOVE Studio Fix! I used to use a sponge to apply it, but yes it does look more cakey and goes on more heavy....I like how Studio Fix is a full coverage foundation....I use the #129 brush to apply it.....it's sheer when you apply it with the brush but still give you that full coverage to cover your blemishes!

I started using Studio Fix last fall and I loved it at first. Then like maryam said, I began to break out like crazy on my forehead and it was drying my skin out and making my face look orange. This had never happened to me before, my skin was usually pefect. So I stopped using it in December and my skin is just getting over all my breakouts.

I was so stoked to get this powder foundation for my very oily t-zone and combination skin-I am 26 and no longer prone to break outs. I used this for 2 weeks and it photographs great. But it gave me blackheads on my nose which I never had before and I broke out all over my face-I was so mortified I called out from work for a couple days till I figured out what was doing it-I am still trying to get my face back in order ops:

Repurchase? No [using diff. product now]

Comments: It offers good coverage, but after a while of using it, I felt that my face was too dry. It can cover blemishes pretty well and can do a good job of evening out skintones. I felt that for me though, I needed to use a bit too much to get what I wanted, which ended up leaving my face looking a tad dry. Maybe I was just using too much, but a lot of people like SF. It's not that great for photos, though. It makes me look so much lighter! This was my first MAC foundation.

Comments: Studio Fix is very easy to apply, and provides maximum coverage. I apply mine with a 190 Foundation Brush. My skin stays even-toned throughout the day, and easily covers up flaws. Blends well with liquid concealer, or tinted moisturizer.

Buy Again? NO WAY!!!

OMG this broke me out like no other!! Not only me, but my cousin as well, and on her its even worse! I think its a hit or miss with this item since it works for some and not others. The only reason i didnt give it a 1 is because the color selection is very big. The coverage is nice too but gosh my skin DID NOT like it.

I have never been a fan of powders , but decided to try this out.
This powder has great buildable coverage & does not cake up or flake off like many other powders do. This is great for someone who doesnt like liquid foundation, but still wants coverage.

Studio fix is recommended for those who have oily skin. IF you tend to be more dry on certain parts of your face, then I would recommend liquid or cream foundations. If you are breaking out from studio fix then its probably not for your skin. I am very oily and have been using studio fix forever and I have had no break out from it at all.

Would you buy this product again? I am hooked on Studiofix liquid now, but I could be swayed to go back

Okay this is such a convenient product. I love that the sponge can be kept close to the makeup but not right on top of it. It is so quick and easy to apply and if you get a good colour match does give a very good, pretty long lasting finish. I took off one point because I find it can sometimes appear a bit chalky on the dry-er (as in not dry patches but just less oily) parts of my combination skin.

I love this stuff. I use it over foundation b/c I like full coverage but on lazy days I feel that it covers just enough... Hence the name powder foundation. I actually had really bad skin before I started using this and it cleared up within a week! I have super dry skin but I don't have any problems with this as long as I exfoliate and moisturize everyday. I don't think I'll ever switch to a diff. powder.

I have acne prone skin and it just made my blemishes look even more dry and flaky plus the colour the MUA gave me was too light I had to bring it back.

Would you buy this product again? No (because my skin has changed)

This was great when I had rather oily skin and could use it dry (I used the sponge, but I think I should have been using a brush). I didn't find it layered very well, sometimes when I was trying to get more on (for an evening look) it felt cakey around my nose and chin. But for everyday swipe-and-go it was pretty good.

Then I worked out that *I* was making my skin oile, so I stopped, and now I have normal/combination skin. Which means that this is no longer a good foundation for me. I tried using wet (as reccomended by the MA), but it tends to go a bit streaky over the oily bits.

It also sits in my pores a little (either wet or dry) if I'm not careful, or at the end of the day.

On the hunt for something new..
