Mineralize Skinfinish: Petticoat (Lingerie)

WOW! This is a gorgeous pink color with goldish specks. I thought it would be way to pink for me but it's not as cool toned as I thought it would be. You could build it up to look very pink but it you apply softly with the 187 you get the most perfect pink glow. The goldish sparkle is a bit chunky in the first application (it annoyed me a little cuz it got everywhere) but once you whipe away the top coat its just perfect!!!

I passed on Stereo Rose and regretted it for the longest time. Now that I have Petticoat, I could care less. This is everything I wanted in a rose skinfinish. It gives me a beautiful healthy glow, and I was lucky that mine doesn't have too much veining in it. It is skin perfection every time. Thanks MAC gods!

Would you buy this product again? yes, but its LE
Comments: i love this. like everyone said it looks like a healthy glow when u apply it w/ 187 brush. yeah the 1st time its kinda messy w/ all the gold-ish glitter, but i wouldnt trade it for anything! lol. i heard some people say its too glittery but i dont think its really glittery at all.

Would you buy this product again? Yes if it wasn't LE.
Very pretty shade in the pot, pinky/rose with bronze veining, on the skin it looks more rose than in the pot.
I find this one really tricky to apply with the #187 it doesn't seem to blend very well but my Bobbi Brown Face Brush sorts that problem out.

Would you buy this product again? No and it's LE
Comments: I'm nc25-27 and that's too light for petticoat. it's like a bronzer for me and there is no mirror with it, but it looks cute and i like the color in the box. I wouldn't buy it again and i can't. when i use it I have many problems because maybe i use the wrong brush. there is much color at the one place and nearly nothing at an other place. i hate this and you must have more time than for normal blush. i use MSF as a blush, but you can use them for everything. I like it as a eyeshadow, too. but not often. I like the shimmer-glitter and the style. it looks quite blotchy and I don't like it! so only 2-3 points. the price is ok. 24€ but it can be cheaper.

Would you buy this product again? If I could, totally!
I'm NW20, and I don't feel that I'm too light for Petticoat. It looks nice and rosy on me. What I do is I take a regular blush brush, and just touch it to the product and press down lightly. It will pick up a little bit of color and shimmer, and after that I blow on the brush a little bit to get any excess off (there probably isn't any, it's just force of habit), and then I apply it like any other blush.
Seriously, it never looks OTT on me when I apply it that way. Goes really well with all the lingerie e/s.

Would you buy this product again? I think this one will last forever
Comments- I use this sparingly... I only gave it 4's because I think in every way it could have been slightly improved. This is something I only use over other blushes... I really like the way it enhances my blushes. It is a little hard to blend, I don't have any great blush brushes and this may be the reason to get one. I'm an NC35 and this color is a dream for my skintone.

If you can get your hands on this MSF it's a great purchase. The color is a really interesting pink/gold metalic. The finish on cheeks is really unique and beautiful.

Would you buy this product again? Yes! If MAC would relaunch!
Petticoat is one of my favorite MSF's. I'm NC15/20, this can be worn alone as a blush if you want a subtle pink shimmery glow, or as a light dusting on top of your similarly-colored blush for an extra glow. Very wearable, love the shade. Blends effortlessly with the 187! Very smooth even product. Packaging is fine, but as with all MSF's, treat them careful as they are fragile! I wish MAC would relaunch this one, I would buy tons of back-ups for sure!

Amazing color! Perfect blush for my pasty-ass!!!
Kinda annoying when you get too much red on your brush and have it darker then wanted, but I definitely LOVE this stuff so much! I am a poor high school student with very little mac, but I might actually buy a backup!

Wow! I got this and use it as a blush. It's the first blush I've tried and it makes me feel so pretty! It gives such a great sheen and I was amazed at how good it held up to tears (my eyes water like rain sometimes). This is my best makeup-buy ever! If I could I would be getting backups of this one for sure! I apply it with my 187 and it works perfectly

I love this! When I went to buy it (original release), my store actually had Stereo Rose left which was originally the MSF I wanted. I tried both on, and it was clear the Petticoat was much more natural looking and just gorgeous! I still regret not getting both because of all the hype with Stereo Rose but Petticoat is just this gorgeous, natural glow. The veining is beautiful and I think this is my favorite MSF

i LOVE this msf! my first one. its a great subtle buildable color, and the shimmery pink is just gorgeous. the only thing is that the bits of gold kinda have large glitter, but mine doesnt have much of that so it doesnt really bother me.

This was my first ever MSF and has become a definite HG for me. The gold glitter/sparkles were very chunky, and looked horribled on me, so for the first couple of applications I would pick up the product with my 187, gently tap the brush so most of the gold crap fell off, and then apply! I'm NC25 and I use this on its own to give me a healthy glow or on top of a pink blush to give me an extra glow. I don't think you can go wrong with this product.

This was my 1st MSF and definitely not the last one!
It's really lovely and makes my cheeks look so natural shiny which I really love. It definitely worth every cent that I paid for it!

I really love petticoat. It's perfect for those days when I want a nice glow on my cheeks without making me look like I'm wearing blush.
