Primer: Prep + Prime Skin Refined Zone
Overall Rating: 1
Price: 1
Packaging Quality: 1 (Should be in a pump like its predicessors)
Would you buy this product again? No

I was so amped-up for this primer that I hastily ordered it on line the day of the launch. BAD IDEA!

Since I would be applying SRZ beneath my regular Prep + Prime, I assumed the skin in that area would retain some moisture...but it didn't.

When the time came to apply my pride and joy MSF, my T-zone appeared lackluster and drawn, and my poor forehead had a ghoulish grey appearance that NO amount of MSF could remedy! I had no choice but to wash and re-apply.

And finally...since the product is somewhat watery, as soon as the cap is removed from the tube, the primer just streams right on out! Should be in a pump, me thinks.

Comments:
The first week I used Refined Zone, I liked it. It indeed mattified my t-zone and prevented me from getting oily in the high humidity of summer.

Then the second week, I noticed my t-zone was over-producing oil because of this stuff. I was using it every day, and that was overkill for my skin.

So this did not react well with my skin for daily use .. and it did break me out when I used it too often. I have combination skin.

This has become one of my favorite products. I have oily skin and relatively large pores, particularly in my T-zone. After I moisturize and let it sink in, I apply a little bit of this product on my problem areas like forehead, nose, inner cheeks, chin. It really helps keep my skin from being oily, and my makeup goes on smoother. My pores appear minimized too after regular use. I wish it came in a bigger size. However a little bit goes a LONG way. Also, it makes the most sense to me to put it on before applying makeup but a MUA told me that it's also okay to put some on after foundation when you need a touch up or something. Definitely try this if you have an oily Tzone!
