This is a lovely frostywhite pigment with gold undertones. I love it as a browbone highlighter and for lipgloss. It mixes to an almost metallic gold. Versatile!

A finely milled loose powder, ivory with a pink and gold pearlescance. This is a great pigment for mixing with foundations to give a dewy or glowy finish, for adding some shimmer to body cream or dusting powders, and for mixing in to add shimmer to and lighten lipcolors. Often used as a highligher shade, it works very well as an all-over lashline to brow wash, particularly for classic looks, or when you wish to use a dark shade in the crease without being overly dramatic. I do wish that pigment jars came with sifter tops, rather than just the plastic inner cap, as it would make handling them much easier.

This is the first pigment I bought and my favourite for highlighting with.
It's a creamy white with a pinky colored shimmer, very soft and cute.
I would re-purchase if I ever ran out (which I probably wont).

One of the staples of any makeup collection, Vanilla is a MUST HAVE. The dual shimmer of peachy pink and icy gold make this cream colored pigment exciting. It looks good with a lot of different looks. I like to use either Frostlite Fluidline under it or Lancome Colour Dose in Serenity.

Useful to dab on center lower lip, use as highlighter on shoulders or face, or anything you want. Great stuff worth every penny.

This is a very versatile color! It look wondeful with just any brown color! Super frosty and nothing like the Vanilla e/s. It is a creamy white color with gold shimmer in it. it is a very safe pigment to own and something you can wear to work and still give your eyes an extra pop!

Vanilla pigment is a beautiful cream color with peach/pink and gold undertones. It is a great color for highlighting the brow bone and the inner corners of the eyes. It is also great for lipgloss, nailpolish and body shimmer. This is a must-have staple in everyones makeup collection.

Another staple of mine, Vanilla pigment is a lovely ivory color with gold shimmer. It's beautiful used as a wash, brow highlighter, cheek highlighter, added to lotion or nailpolish...it's uses are endless!

So this is my new fave color of all time. I got it in a swap and it was the best money I ever spend on makeup. The shimmery goldish white looks so good on my skin color and goes so nicely with my gold glasses (hehehe) I love it sooo much!!!

This color is a must have for everyone. The color is warm white with yellow tones and frosted. Makes a great highlighter for eyes and cheeks, can be used on lips to subdue and warm up brighter colors. Love it!

I often use as a brow bone highlighter. It is an opalescent off white that appears goldish/pinkish depending on the light. Definitely a basic for me.

I'm going to be the stick in the mud that just doesn't think this product is that great. Okay so lets start with the positives - the value for money is really good as it is with all pigments - you need so little but get so much. However I don't find the colour to be that special (i.e. no better than similar shades of cheaper product lines) and I don't particularly like the finish. I'm having a hard time articulating why - it just doesn't do that much for me.

This is my must have staple pigment and I use it in just about everything. Perfection for highlighting on the high brow, I also mix a little in with my foundation to give me a shimmery ethereal look to my skin. This pigment tones in with so many different colours and looks and is very versatile. Depending on what colours I use with it, it can look simply a warm gold or an ivory with pink-sheened gold. This is truly a multi-purpose pigment. Looks fab in nail polish and as someone has already pointed out mix it with body lotion or just simply dust wherever you want.

I will need another pot of this.

I usually buy just samples of all the pigments because I never know if I'll like how they turn out, but this is my first full-sized pigment i bought because I knew how much I'd use as a wash and even a great highlighter. I've had it for a little over 4 months now and it's still pretty close to the top. It lasts forever!

General Comments:

I cant believe theres no review on this pigment Vanilla Pigment is a must have staple for any MAC collection. It is everything safe, great for lipgloss, nails, eyes, face and hair. It makes a shimmery highlight for any eye looks.

It is a frosted soft ivory white with goldish undertones, i give this product 10/10, like i said, a must have staple, cant go wrong with Vanilla!

I very much love this pigment. I use it daily for my eyeshadow wash. Also love it for putting a little bit in the cupid's bow of my upper lip to make lips look more lush. Even pretty for collarbones etc. I decanted into a sifter jar for ease of use.

This pigment is simply a MUST HAVE for anybody and should be a staple in everyones kits! This is such a great highlighter, it can be used as an overall wash and is incredibly versatile. A creamy white with pinkish/goldish undertones its great for browbone highlighting, complete lid wash, mixed with face powder, use it on cheeks for a nice lift of you have flatter cheeks like me, or put it on your lips or sweep it all over your shoulders with a soft brush for a lovely radient effect. You cant go past Vanilla for versatility and value!!

I got this p/m as a gift (as part of the Holiday 2006 Warm set) and I didn't touch it for months because it looked SO white in the jar. Then, I was messing around will all my eye stuff one night, swatched it on my hand, and it was LOVE. This turns a perfect goldish, sparkly shade on me when blended out. I use it every other day for my highlight color and will definitely need to get another when I run out of the small size!

A stunning pearlescent shimmer great for highlighting or layering over other coours to give some some interesting change.

Great on the cheekbones for a pretty shimmer.

Great on the lips for a very sexy pout, I like to apply it with clear Lipglass.

A fantastic (unfortunately underrated) pigment that should be in every kit.

Don't get fooled by its white appearance. This is a great addition to a white shadow but is in a league of its own. It isnt white, nor pure pearl.

Well worth buying, and I will make sure I have a backup to never run out!

For a long time I didn't think this pigment was anything special, and therefore never bought it. Well, after seeing a video tutorial featuring Vanilla, I caved and bought a full jar and now I can't live without it. It is a gorgeous soft white with golden shimmer to it. You can wear it as a wash along with just liner and mascara if you're in a hurry, you can use it as a browbone highlighter, pair it with virtually any other eyeshadow, use it on your lips or your cheekbones... it is so versatile. I LOVE this pigment.
