I went to the pro store last weekend and the SA didn't know what I was talking about when I asked which pigment batches were now eye safe. Most of the jars out on display still had red stickers on the bottom if they were not eye safe. Including the ones you just listed.

Yes- stores are not to start selling the new batches until the old stock is sold through.

All counters and stores have been provided with an updated listing of the precautions for the pigments, and those which have batch numbers associated with them for dual precautions are listed there as well.

Not all staff are aware of this however, and MAC is notorious for having under-educated staff in this regard.

I went to a MAC store today and bought fuchsia. They checked a list and told me it was a safe batch, but it's ab4 and the list says that's not safe. Can you please let me know if it's definitely not eyesafe? Thanks

No, as B34 falls within the range of batches from A34 through A74.

I have golden lemon A75.

A64 = not eye safe
A64 is not equal to A75
Therefore, A75 is eye safe?
