Brush: 190 (Foundation Brush)
Overall rating: 5
Price Value: 4
Packaging quality 1 (open ended plastic bag - low class)

When I first got Studio Tech foundation, I had been using a foundation brush from Sallys Beauty Supply which I thought was *just as good as those dept store brands*.

Boy was I wrong. I got the 190 foundation brush and things took on a whole different look! I have used three different expensive foundation brushes since then and always go back to the 190. The bristles are full and pro quality. The results are professional every time.

When I use the 190, I apply the foundation in rapid short strokes back and forth sort of like buffing a shoe after the polish dries. The effect is very smooth and professional looking. I especially love the way that it applies Studio Tech, but it works well for all cream and liquid foundations.

The applications of the liquid foundation is a bit trickier, but still gives great results for me. I highly recommend this brush. I will never go back to using sponges for application again. (touch ups and blending yes, but not application)

I picked up my first ever foundation brushes with the Olive 2005 Holiday brush kit. I can't even describe the difference using them makes... I now understand WHY there are brushes and WHY people are fanatical about them!

The first thing I tried using was the 190SE with my Shiseido Proudia foundation (a dense creme in a tube.) I stopped using this as the coverage was heavy and matt. Using the 190SE allowed for a much more precise and consequently sheerer application. My skin looks flawless at the moment and I barely used much!

I'll also say that it felt lovely on the skin and was incredibly easy to use. I'm completely in love!

This is the brush every one should own. It make foundation go on so much smoother and gives a truly flawless finish.
Looks expensive (it is but worth it) and it will last years.

It's a must in everyone's toolkit. Comapred to applying makeup with sponges, this brush creates a much more flawless foundation, and in half the time. Just glides over the skin and blends makeup easily.

If you dont want to waste foundation this is the way to go. the sponge wastes while this brush saves! Gives a good even, streak free application and its soooo soft. i dont know how i ever did without this brush. Must have in every brush kit. I loved it so much i even bought the mini version that came in the tailormade brush kit to take with me whenever im on the go.

Just to clarify i would not buy this again because i already have 2 full sized ones!

i've learnt that the best way to use this brush to apply foundation is to use dabbing motions. this means that you can avoid seeing streaks which i get if i do not use dabbing motions.

it does suck up too much of your foundation and by dabbing it makes the application flawless although not as flawless as using a sponge. having said that a sponge uses up a lot of foundation! i usually blot with a tissue when i finish.

I love it. I use it for moisturizer and liquid foundation. And you totally save product, you only need a tiny amount of it! Definitely worth the price.
