Contents of my makeup bag:

- lippie of the day

- lip liner of the day

- covered lip brush

- maybe some lip gloss

- Bobbi Brown blotting paper case filled with Boscia (lavender or green tea) blotting papers

- retractable powder brush

- 10 gram sifter jar of Alima Satin Finishing powder

- MUFE Full Cover concealer

- a matchbook with disposable mini foam applicators (to fix eye makeup and apply/fix concealer)

- covered emery board

- small nail clipper

My shift is 12 hours of running....sometimes putting on masks and safety goggles.....I don't have anytime to touch up my makeup, but when I go to the bathroom,I use blotting paper. I also carry lipgloss. It's too hot here to carry lipstick in a uniform pocket-I have melted dozens! If I have to see a lot of infectious disease patients,all my makeup except my eyeshadow is gone by the end of the shift.

I don't really need make up every day (except mascara, that's my essential) bc I'm in the Army but I always have lip balm with me and when I go out I take blot papers, lipgloss or lipstick of the day, and the small pocket mirror my cousin offered me last year (it's green with huge pink flowers on it, so I always see it even when it's lost in my bag... which happens all the time!)

Not much...Jut my Too Faced Bunny Balm(grapefruit-flavoured), a CoverGirl blush in Rose Silk, Cargo's Reverse Lipliner, LORAC e/s in Cappuccino and a sample size of Jonathn's Silk Dirth.

I have a cheap $1 Target zipper bag which has all my staples in it so I'm not searching for a favorite.

-Bare Minerals in Light or Fairly Light
-NYX blush in Natural (to be replaced soon by MAC tenderling)
-Mary Kate and Ashley bronzer- not bad, but not pigmented enough. Looks very natural on. I've been lusting over Cargo's big bronzer, but the thing wouldn't fit in my bag!
-Sephora bronzer and Clinique eyeshadow brushes in a ziplock baggie.
-UD Midnight Cowboy (I want Rides Again. I regret getting the regular one now )
-Benefit boiing (too light. I never use it! I need to replace it and get a brush)
-Sample of UDPP
-ELF eyelash curler. I want a nicer one!

And eventually, a MAC dazzlelight, too.

HOWEVER,
If i'm going somewhere where i know i wont be home all day, ill carry every eyeshadow i used for my makeup that day (maybe 3) for touch ups including eye liner and mascara.

That's my MU case, then in my purse I keep my Urban Decay Deluxe palette and in my work apron, which always is in my purse, I keep my MAC lipglass in Style Minx.

It is a lot, but sometimes I wake up too late for me to do my makeup at home, so I always make sure to have enough makeup for me to do at least 5 to 7 different looks (a couple of blue looks, a yellow look, some green looks, purple, frosty, etc). I don't do pigment on the bus though. And as far as the lip colour goes, I can use several different colours in one day-I used 3 or 4 yesterday alone and I only worked a three hour shift (went in with the Glossimer, then put my Estee lipstick on, then got bored and went back to Style Minx.

I don't carry much at all. I have a shattered square mirror, my BonneBell Cotton Candy MegaBalm, some Vaseline Lip Care, whatever lipgloss/lipstick I'm wearing that day, and Hush CCB.

I used to take everything that I put on in the morning (sans foundation, and similar) into my bag, and it was massive!! But since I discovered the power of primer, I need less for touch-ups and really only carry what I need for quick fixes. Right now that is:

~Black pencil liner (a little 2"er!)
~Mini-mascara
~Mirror
~Concealer
~Powder
~Clear lipgloss
~Nude lipgloss
~And an occasional lipstick, colored liner, or shadow

And 90% of the time, I don't even go in there, except to touch up the waterline and deshine my nose!

- Blush. Depends on what I'm wearing that day, but mostly a peachy blush like Peaches or Style, because I look best in peachy shades.
- Lipbalm.I carry a zillion of these in my purse, my faves are various Lip Smackers (yum!) and The Body Shops lip balms/butters.
- Lipglass/lustreglass
- Jellybabe lipgelée. Because it has a nice texture and has that perfect MLBB shade without any sparkle.
- Powder compact
- Concealer. I need to find a really good one though (any tips?), that can hide the zits that pops up now and then and cover dark circles without looking weird. How come concealer gets so cakey and odd?
- Small brush bag with powder & blush brushes.
