This palette sounds awesome, but maybe it is just me, but when I tried out Blackberry at my counter, the texture was horrible. It felt like a Matte2, just with no color payoff. Unless it is just a messed up tester?

It comes out on my birthday. That definatly gives me an excuse to get it. I'm hoping I will be able to go shopping that day or the day after. Do you think it will go quickly?

I'd guess that it'll be similar to the Jet Black/Rock It/Peach palettes, mirrored with a large pan of blush and three rectangular e/s. I'm hoping that the outside isn't adorned with anything too hideous.. I love the plain/rhinestone packaging of the older palettes

My Macy's After Christmas sale flyer arrived today. I tore it open, hoping to see the palette but alas, no luck. Might be due to the fact that my macy's doesn't have a mac counter though.

I'm dying to see this palette.

i don't think macys ever advertizes mac like nordstrom does.

btw, the release date for this collection has been moved up a week. it is now being released on dec. 19th. enjoy!

I saw the Authentics palette this past Sat.,and I thought it wasn't that great

Looks like I will be passing up this one which sucks because I was really looking forward to this one.

so i asked my manager today about the launch date, and she said thurs the 20th, not wed the 19th. so i don't know which day it is for sure, just that it is releasing a week early. i'm sorry to let you down if you have to wait another day

, but its better than waiting til the 26th, right?!

The packaging is just plain black and that's it,which really kinda sucks.I was expecting something cool looking but no such luck.

The packaging is a very thin square matte black compact. Inside is a large square of the blush, and three strips of eyeshadow, as well as a large mirror. At first glance it isn't that special. However, I swatched all four and the blush is gorgeous, and so are the two exclusive colors. Like someone already said, Blackberry is pretty blah.

Any idea when this will be available online? My macy's doesn't have a mac counter. I've been stalking the website and it seems as though they're doing page maintenance specifically with Mac. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they'll post Originals at the same time. This is gonna be quite a haul--my last for a while. :P

I called the Buffalo MAC counter, and THEY said the 24th. I'm like, "huh?" So, I guess I'll check on the 20th just to be sure.

hrm.... I wasn't too into this when I first heard about it now I HAVE to check it out. hopefully there isn't a snow storm on the 26th or something lol *my luck*!!! It def sounds pretty.
I went to a MAC counter the day Finery was released and the MUA had no idea that it was release day for it. She said they changed the dates on them 4 different times!! So I'm not surprised there is more confusion on the release dates for other collections.
Does anyone have any pics of swatches or of the palette itself??

I got to see it yesterday, but could not test it. I don't like the color of the blush, but I really like the green e/s. I most likely will not buy it (maybe when I get to test it I will change my mind).
I took a picture (Actually I messed up and took a short video of it) but I am unable to load it to this site.

It was a dark coral, not a very flattering color on me (I prefer shades of Peach-I'm). If I get a chance to look at it again, I'll try to compare it to another blush.

Response:The blush is very similar to Pinch Me. In my opinion the green e/s is a shimmery version of Velvet Moss.
