Sadly I agree- even though the packaging is super pretty the colors just dont jump out at me. they look like other previous palettes. The only things I may get would be the warm pigment set- if the colors are ones I dont have already and maybe the keepsake set. The little fabric cases look cute.

Re: Holiday '07 Product Information
So far the only thing I am buying is the eye creams from Richmetal, the 5 x Mineralize Eyeshadow Duos, that may not even be coming out, and maybe a diamond powder.

I'm not exactly sure about this year, but I went on Mac Live Chat to ask(since I was curious myself), and they were CA$62.00 last year.
I BELIEVE it was US$48.50, but you might want to check on that.

I'm afraid I didn't saw any information about shade. I thought we can get them later, maybe specktra or other forum.

Re: Holiday '07 Product Information
So no descriptions yet??? I think i see Nightsky & Goldenair softsparkle eye pencils in that set (i really want those 2!) & the pigment sets look really great. More similar colours instead of different ones but i like that better. But please MAC do NOT repeat yourself & put another damn mini vial of tan pigment in our holiday sets! I have the full size & i want variety!!! How many years did they use tan pigment? Its a fave of mine but please put some thing LE like Coco or Coco Beach.............please???

Re: Holiday '07 Product Information
yeah, i could be completely wrong and sometimes mac fools us with promo pics that look nothing like what really comes out, but from that pic alone it looks like peacocked, iris accents, reflecto, goldenair, and nightsky in my opinion (softsparkle pencils)
it seems like dark soul is always in the cool eyes pigment collection.

Re: Holiday '07 Product Information
Omg! Warm, Metallic, Smokey! I need them!!! The Cool... not so much. Too much pink and purple, ick. The Tan Finery looks promising, as does the Pink! I'll pass on the Heirlooms, unless I can't stand it and just get one for the clutch!! The warm Viva Glamorous looks awesome!!

Re: Holiday '07 Product Information
Any pics of the last page of the catalog with the luxury type products with the pearl compacts? I asked an MA the other day about a short handle version of brush #227. He showed me the catalog and on the last page there were short handle brushes. They had some kind of design on it. I just want to make sure it is the same brush. Thanks.

Re: Holiday '07 Product Information
I think the packaging is great but until the color names/descriptions are published I'm going to hold off on making my list. MAC has a habit of releasing colors over and over again but just renaming them.

Re: Holiday '07 Product Information
I fell in love with all these cute things...
May I ask you how you bring up the money for all these sets? Because....they're quite expensive if you do not buy only one or two...

Re: Holiday '07 Product Information
I wonder if this:
In December MAC will also launch a new loose beauty powder in colours: Dancing Light, Drizzlegold, Natural Flare, Sunspill, Tenderdusk and Soft Flame - priced £15.50; and Studio Lights in tones: Skin Lure, Ideal Pink, Smoothspice, Frangipani and Sand - priced £11.
is part of the holiday release(s)?
Source.

Re: Holiday '07 Product Information
Question:
Does the money from the Viva Glam palettes go to the fund for people living with HIV/AIDS like the regular lipsticks do?

I think so.
Otherwise it would be stupid to call it "Viva glam palette"

Re: Holiday '07 Product Information
Those are gorgeous looking. GAWD. Now I have to save up like $200USD more because I'm seeing I like more than just the descriptions! DAMMIT! D:
I thought I was done saving too. But then again $450USD is nothing at MAC to me. Sighhh..
