Hey friends, I just asked live chat when the brush sets will be released, they said they are *aiming* for Oct 21 (online), so Oct 23 in stores. I hope this isn't common knowledge, but I was confused b/c the color story just said November, but in fact it should be out with the rest of the stuff in October!

really? for two brushes? I know the "couture" are supposed to be nicer, but I can't think they're that much nicer to justify paying $60 each!

I'll be honest, I love the brush sets, but I definitely don't consider them high quality. If you're looking to invest in some nice brushes, buy the full-size brushes, even if you have to get them one by one- I've found the quality to be far superior, and they are also guaranteed for life, which the mini brush sets are not. Also, there are a lot of great brushes to consider besides MAC (like Chanel) that are comparably priced but serve different purposes, so don't feel limited to just MAC. Ok I'll stop rambling now!

We will get the whole holiday collection here November 8th! The color story, Passions of Red (palettes) and the Adoring Carmine Bags (brushes, lips) will be available at every counter and store and I guess online as well.

The Little Darling Mini Sets and the Eye Kit will just be available at exclusive locations. I can tell you more this Friday after I will have met my MA!

Do these sell out fast??? I'm in washington DC 4th -11th november and would like to buy them at the store then, do you think they will still be availiable??

The MAC MA from Douglas told me yesterday they will get the whole collection, the little darlings at the end of november but she's getting the whole information this thursday seems like all MACis get it on thursday and now I'm waiting for friday...

If you are talking about the one that is black satin and has jewels and velvet trim then that came out with Formal Black. Not MAC Couture. Holiday 06. I have that brush set and I am in love with it. And to be honest, I like it A LOT more than the regular line brush roll.

I want an eye palette, don't know which one yet, i have to see them in person.
No lip palette for me. I don't use them :/

Adoring Carmine:
-So far the 3 Rose Lips grab my attention.

Little Darlings:
-The 5 cool pigment set
-The 5 Coral Lipglass/Lusterglass set
-The 5 Pink lipglass/lusterglass set.

And this is without the Red She said things that i want! I'm going to be so broke! Why MAC, why must you do this to me?!! I still you though...hehe

We got the holiday minis last year at dillards counter I hope so this year too .....but atleast mac offeres free shippping helps feed my addiction

I went into MAC today to get a few things and they have started putting out the collection. They are doing a pre-sale tomorrow so you can get them products now. I was all happy about getting the brush set and the MA told me that they are travel and do not replace the original brushes, lol. I was like aww well. They were cute but I like my black ones because the handles are much longer and I have gotten used to it. So I will go back next week and get some of the e/s palettes. The display was very pretty as she was setting it up.

ETA the MA said that the brush sets are ok but in no way as good as the originals. The collection goes out 23rd for the palettes he said.
