Re: Colour Forms Collection Discussion Thread
I wonder what the theme will be this year. Maybe like the old "Color Theory" collection with the numbers lasered on the shadows? Hm.

Ack, the quality on the brush sets is waaaay lower than the regular brushes. I got the basic set for Christmas, and the only brush in there that I didn't already have was the lip brush, but I like having two of the same brushes, it's handy. But since I have the regular ones AND the brush set, I can compare them, and yeah...there's pretty much no comparison. Some of the brushes aren't cut evenly (I had to go trim the strays myself) and they shed all the time. A few of them are also made out of obviously different hairs. I mean, they're fine as a starter set and I'm really glad I got them since I use them as back-ups, but I can't see them lasting NEARLY as long as the regular brushes.

Re: Colour Forms Collection Discussion Thread
I like the SE brushes because of the short handles; too bad all the regular brushes don't come in a SH version.
I adore my full sized brushes, but I like my holiday sets just fine. They are especially handy if you travel. Depending on what is included in the advanced set, I will probably pick it up.

Re: Colour Forms Collection Discussion Thread
I got all the Holiday 06 brush sets and they are fine... pretty much no shedding, and I have used them a lot. Maybe the quality has declined.. but my SE ones are great

Re: Colour Forms Collection Discussion Thread
Gilded green pigment looks suspiciously like Golder's Green. I'm wondering if that is what it is and it's just a typo.

Re: Colour Forms Collection Discussion Thread
This is definitely coming to The Bay in Canada as well; I confirmed it with my fave MAs on Friday. They showed me everything in the collection book & I have to admit, I'm more excited for this one than Neo Sci-Fi

Honestly, she showed me the entire book right up to the end of July & there were so many collections that I'm having trouble remembering what goes with what! I know there were pigments [IIRC only one was a repromote but don't quote me on that] and shadows that sounded really nice.. Depending on how much my hair appt. on Thursday ends up costing me, I may be back at the counter with any leftover money. I'll definitely pay more attention this time and take notes! We were going through the entire book because I was asking about Tendertones & Naughty Nauticals, and she went through it all with me. There's some sort of pearlized ball-looking pigmenty things coming but I honestly can't remember which collection they're attached to. I was advised to set aside money for them though!

Re: Colour Forms Collection Discussion Thread
I am seriously hoping that the pictures in question are for Colour Forms because I was REALLY hoping for some new MSFs in the July collection. The usually have MSFs in July and I would be disappointed if they didn't.

I got the brushes from last years Nordstroms collection and everytime I wash the 187, the black hair bleed. =\ I ordered a full size one so hopefully it comes soon because I freak out everytime I wash this SE one!

Those are probably from the Solar Field collection.

^^I believe that they are on the temptalia.com website under her new forum section. I don't think that I am supposed to link it as the previous one was removed.

Oh! I'm hoping so! I'm already hooked by the name, so I can only imagine the damage the actual pics are are going to do!

Yes!
All,
I just noticed that the other brushes from other collections are cracking, including one by Becca (the ones by Paula Dorf are fine, which btw are my favorite e/s brushes), I must be doing something wrong?

I've read that you should never get the wooden part of the handle wet when washing. If you've ever seen a wooden deck or fence that hasn't been waterproofed, you will see how bad they warp, crack, etc. Have you been getting the handles wet? If so, I bet that's the problem.
