Re: Colour Forms Collection Discussion Thread
so the brush sets are typically the same ones? I see these are the same sets (different packaging, I mean same #s ie 187se, 219se, etc) as from last years novel twist.
I was hoping maybe there would be a different assortment, as I LOVE my 187se but don't think I'll get another set of all identical for just that one....i'll save up for a regular size one I guess.
but there is so much more in this collection that has me excited!--I may actually give the palettes a chance while I passed on the novel twist ones last year b/c of the repromotes. I can't wait!!

Re: Colour Forms Collection Discussion Thread
I cannot believe I didn't see this thread until now! I loooove these and so happy we're getting them at the Bay! I want 3 of the lippies, one of the color forms powders, 2 piggies and 1-2 highlighters!
Did I see right that is collection is actually released at the Bay first? Canadians aren't usually the ones who get the new collection before US....

seems like every year we get the summer department store exclusive collection a week earlier than US (for the last 2 years at least), so it's probably right.

I didn't get too excited by pics of the colour form powders, but thought the lipsticks looked great!

I'm so excited to see the brush sets, eyes & lips palette! Although I'm not so sure about the Richmetal Highlighters..I'd have to see that in person first

Re: Colour Forms Collection Discussion Thread
I haven't kept up with this thread at all and now I'm totally blind-sided! The Colour Form powders sound great, and Royal Flush... Mi'Lady still looks a bit orange-y on me, so hopefully this piggy with do me red right.
About the brush sets tho... the two advanced ones are exactly the same, save for the bag?

correct. most of the time there is one basic set, and two advanced sets that have the same brushes, just in different colors. only a couple times now has mac come out with 3 completely different sets. one of those times was with antiquitease.

There is info here.
Basically they are a drier cream product with metallic effects. Depending on the colour, they can be used as a blush, face highlighter or perhaps a brow bone highlighter. They are too emollient for a shadow, as they will crease, imo.

Me either, sad face. Looks like it would be just another highlighter for me. I'm still excited about the pigments and brush sets though.
