Re: MAC - Cool Heat Discussion
There's always someting I like from every collection...
Fafi - Sugar Trance, Not So Innocent , Perky, Girl Friendly... I aodre those!
Heatherette - Lollipop Loving, Sock Hop and Alpha Girl (my favourite blush ever!)
Naughty Nauticals - Ahoy, There... everything else is too blue-ish for me.
Neo Sci Fi - Pleasureseeker (I adore this one!) and Evening Aura is really nice.
Cool Heat - - didn't buy much - haven't used Warm Chill yet.

Re: MAC - Cool Heat Discussion
I was really wanting to buy Warm Chill and Climate Blue but both are sold out on the MAC Pro site and since I'm new and we don't have a freestanding MAC, or Pro Store in my area can anyone tell me do they restock these online eventually? Sorry if this is the wrong area.

Re: MAC - Cool Heat Discussion
I know I'm in the minority over here, but I enjoyed Fafi. Yes, I agree it could have been better, yes, there's a crazy amount of glitter in there. But I have a RIDICULOUS amount of that collection, and I USE it. I like it! Now, the thing is... I bought most of it off specktra after the fact. This means much with the discounting because other people want rid of it. I have all the lipsticks, all the glosses, all the IPPs, five of the paint pots, the second quad (which I bought extra super cheap), and all three dolls. I avoided most of the non-makeup merch, but loved the dolls. Sassed Up is my least favourite of the IPPs because I find it to be absolutely the most obnoxiously glittery. But, hey, I'm a ridiculous girl and sometimes some glitter is called for!
On the topic of Cool Heat... I've missed some pages in this thread, so I don't know if this has been brought up yet, but: has anyone else noticed that Solar White is just a washed out version of Cloudbound from the Pandamonium quad? They're super, super similar (down to the same finish), but Cloudbound has even more of the gorgeous gold sheen that makes Solar White so pretty. I swatched them side by side on my hand, and really... as a fan of the gold sheen, I like Cloudbound better. Same effect can be achieved by layering Solar White with Vanilla pigment, though, so I suppose it's nice to have what is (to me) essentially a backup of Cloudbound?

Re: MAC - Cool Heat Discussion
Did Warm Chill become permanent? Because LE items are marked with a symbol at the Mac website and Warm Chill didn't have the symbol

No. Warm Chill is already sold out on the US site - that's why the LE symbol is gone, too.

Re: MAC - Cool Heat Discussion
But Warm Chill is not as nice as some of the previous greens, not good color payoff. Though it was the first color I was attracted to, it turns out to be the one I like the least from the collection. I was pleasantly surprised by Warming Trend and Gulf Stream.

Re: MAC - Cool Heat Discussion
A light bit of cool heat blended into solar white on my less-than-NW15 skin gives a pretty pale green with gold shimmer that looks pretty much exactly like what I wanted warm chill to be.

I wasn't interested in SW at all, but I had no idea how beautiful and wearable it is!

Re: MAC - Cool Heat Discussion
Same with me. If not for my MA, I would have never considered it. Normally those colours look horrible on me. SW does not

I was not interested at all in buying it, but on the very RARE occasion when I was at a MAC counter this summer for a brief moment, I saw it in person and decided I HAD to have it. It really is beautiful.
I wish we had a MAC near me, not seeing things in person before purchase is so frustrating.

Re: MAC - Cool Heat Discussion
Solar White is one of my favourite makeup products of all time-I abuse this baby. I need to get a backup, but I am hoping that maybe some Cool Heat has made its way to the CCO's by now. However I did have to get a Tropic Glow backup...that is the best pink lip ever.

Wasn't Gentle Simmer s/s supposed to be permanent? It's not on the MAC site at all.

Re: MAC - Cool Heat Discussion
I really love e/s from this collection. When this was released in here I only had money to buy Cool Heat and afrer that I've had to hunt the others down from Ebay, I'm still missing Warm Chill and Climate Blue. I got my Solar White today and allthough I first was a bit sceptical about that I have to admit that it's a wonderfull colour. Might be one of my favs

Re: MAC - Cool Heat Discussion
i have
warming trend - i think i like it a lot. i like neutrals, but i haven't worked this into rotation too much yet.
solar white - again i think i like it. i can't always tell with yellow shadows.
warm chill - i found this easier to wear than darker or brighter color shadows, but it didn't seem to last very long.
by degrees - a nice mlbb shade, but a bit warmer or something than what i normally wear. i love the slimshine texture and i will probably use this up as it is wearable but something seems *almost* off on me. i also lost this after a day and bought another. ticked off about that.
for me the hit is swelter slimshine. such a great, wearable red. i'm thinking about grabbing at least one backup.
