Re: MAC - CremeSheen Discussion
I keep imagining some kind of futuristic version of the mattenes. Like the same formula with more creaminess and SHEEN!

Re: MAC - CremeSheen Discussion
I want to get a lot of these, but it is also being launced when I renew my membership for Specktra. I truly feel that if I'm going to dump hundreds of dollars on makeup I wouldn't have known about without Specktra, then I should at least budget some money for my Specktra donation. Therefore, I will have to cut down on some of these. Makes sense anyway, I have a gazillion lippies...

Re: MAC - CremeSheen Discussion
I wonder if this formula will be the same as the lippies from Colour Forms - the ones with the balm/pearlized center?

never thought about that! I think the core lipsticks have a name that tells u it has a different core. So I have a feeling these arent.
BUT what if they were??? I love the look fo the core lipsticks lol they look so great

That is a very good theory. The Colour Forms lipsticks with the core would fit that name, as the outer layer acts like a amp cream whilst the inner core is shimmery, giving it a sheen.

Re: MAC - CremeSheen Discussion
I am so on that shit if they have pretty nude colors... :] From the pictures I've seen, they seem to have a great color-payoff. Well at least Brave Red does.

Re: MAC - CremeSheen Discussion
Im jumping on the theory that these are the core lipsticks. They definitely fit the description. Besides, didn't Nordstrom come out with the first paint pots in novel twist last year? Wouldn't be the first time they are releasing a new product for the anniversary sale that we will see again later.

Re: MAC - CremeSheen Discussion
I have good news for some, bad for alot.
The CremeSheen is a new formula of lipstick with a medium-buildable coverage. They apply very creamy and comfortable, and apparently have better staying power than most other lipsticks, and also feature a high-shine finish. Certain ingredients like Wheat Germ Extract, and Olive Extract help keep the lips moisturized. This formula will be permanent and is meant to be the modern Amplified Cream. As a result MAC is going to be discontinuing and trying to phase out Amplified Creams. I was told that this could be anywhere from days from now to years from now. It's similar to the Paints. Paint Pots were released, but some Paints are still hanging out. Eventually though the new formula will completely cancel out the previous product.
This was all said by my trainer. I have not touched the products yet so I am not sure if it is really a "modern Amplified Cream".
