I've also not bought any retail MAC since Sheer Minerals and RSS launched, though (the CB has gotten me a few times...), so that makes a difference too. Maybe some day. Sigh.

And I'm totally intrigued by the prospect of a lavender one of these next year!

MzzRach, I bet it looks awesome on you!!! Try it with Lure lipliner, it kinda changes up the color a bit. I noticed when I wear it alone I don't like it with my skin tone as much as I do when I use Lure. You are too sweet to me.

It is almost red. That is the best way for me to describe it. It is a very muted red toned liner. I will try to take a pic and swatch it for you. It's one of my faves. It kinda borders on being mauve.

I wonder is that lavender will be like Orchidazzle with came out with Strange Hybrid but glossier because Orchidazzle is a lustre.

I'd imagine that the lavender will be considerably more opaque than Orchidazzle, given the difference in formula.

I bought fan fare the other day, and it looks great on me, a nice pinky-coral. But time will tell if it will grow on me and become a favorite.

I'm planning to get Speed Dial and Hot Gossip too, and possibly On Hold or Party Line. Would Brave Red or Dare You look better on a cool-toned person like me? And are any of these lipsticks comparable to other MAC lippies? Sorry for asking so many questions, I'll love to buy them all but I'm kinda broke so I'm trying to narrow down my list.

Gee, I'm now wondering how Ravishing looks on me. Gotta try it on the next time I go to a MAC counter.

the liners are repromotes if i'm not mistaken. you can buy them now.

yeah I know what you mean. What makes me more excited about these lippies is that they are cremesheen texture, which is more opaque and longlasting, so there may be hope!
