The CremeSheen is a new formula of lipstick with a medium-buildable coverage. They apply very creamy and comfortable, and apparently have better staying power than most other lipsticks, and also feature a high-shine finish. Certain ingredients like Wheat Germ Extract, and Olive Extract help keep the lips moisturized. This formula will be permanent and is meant to be the modern Amplified Cream. As a result MAC is going to be discontinuing and trying to phase out Amplified Creams. I was told that this could be anywhere from days from now to years from now. It's similar to the Paints. Paint Pots were released, but some Paints are still hanging out. Eventually though the new formula will completely cancel out the previous product.
This was all said by my trainer. I have not touched the products yet so I am not sure if it is really a "modern Amplified Cream".
I'm glad because I hate the Amplified's, that is the one MAC thing I refuse to buy, I don't know why but they always make me bite my lips, weird I know.

They're similar, but Blankety is more of a pinky beige, whereas Myth is a peachy beige. Plus, Myth is a satin finish, I find Blankety is more forgiving when you apply, as well as more moisturizing.

I have the exact same problem with Lustres.
The only MAC lippies which actually stay on me are....
no...make that *is* - Viva Glam I
(but I have yet to try the other Matte Viva Glam.)
The new ones sound beautiful, but I have a feeling they won't stay on me, as most lippies do not
I'm mostly into eyes when it comes to MAC.

I don't have a Satin, tho. Now I hope to try one asap,
based on your recommendation.

Re: MAC - CremeSheen Discussion
I have become such a lipstick girl that I am so looking forward to these! They sound amazing in terms of staying powder and moisturizing. I already want 5 of them just from reading the color descriptions.

Re: MAC - CremeSheen Discussion
These look gorgeous, but I probably won't be so quick to get these when they first come out since they're going to be permanent. Too many other collections to spend my $$$ on!!

Exactly. Finally, they make something permanent
The look of these look so...old fashioned, in a womanly pink kinda way.(if ANYone understands what I mean by that, I'll be shocked) LoL
I just love the way they look. I can't wait til all the LE collections are like, slowing down for me so i can pick some of these up.I cant wait to see swatches. I LOVE LIPSTICKS!!!

Re: MAC - CremeSheen Discussion
My Cremesheen lipsticks arrived Sat. The colors did not really look like the colors in the photo, not "pink" like I thought. I'm not faulting the seller as its prob. just the camera/photo.
However, the colors of the lipsticks themselves are quite pretty & very soft, creamy & long lasting, & apply quite a good layer of color. They almost stain the lip. Great texture/consistency.
I got the "2 pink colors" which are really more red IRL. One is more of a soft pink red with more pink tone. The other is more of a pretty coral true red. I hope to have pictures later today or Monday.

Oh Boy, I wonder what mine will look like. I hope I like them, they won't be here for a few days though cause I'm on the east coast. I can't wait to see your pics
Can you guess which ones you got based on the color descriptions?

The colors were pretty off from the ebay pictures.
She said that the lighter color of the 2 was called Fanfare - Fan Fare - Mid-tone Yellow Pink I'm guessing the other is Speak Louder - Poppy Blue Pink
Their staying power (at least on me) was incredible. I had to use makeup remover to get it off of my hand.
I think the lighter one - yellow pink shows up darker on my lips because I have more blue/purple pigmented lips. I'll post the pictures very shortly in the CS thread.

Re: MAC - CremeSheen Discussion
I got 2 cremesheens today. I think they are Ravishing(corally color) & Creme D'Nude(beigey color) I love them. They really go on very nice & creamy, lol. I think CremeD'Nude is similar to Blankety. I don't really have any other coral colors, so I'm not sure what to compare Ravishing to, but in the swatch thread I put it next to my High 90's slimshine to give everyone an idea of the color. Anyhow I have my swatches up, enjoy, hope they are helpful

Re: MAC - CremeSheen Discussion
I received the Nude color today - #5 on Ebay. The color is a pinky/rosey nude brown. Nothing too unique color wise but still very creamy.

Re: MAC - CremeSheen Discussion
After re-reading the color descriptions I think the color I have & swatched might actually be Crosswires(pinky orange) not Ravishing(light peachy coral) like I originally thought. Either way, its a hot color, but I think its more pinky orange than peachy coral

They're not badly priced on Ebay & mine have shipped really fast & have been in perfect condition. I ordered from 2 diff. sellers. If you like more color payoff with a creamy texture they are very nice.
