Yep, it is definitely different. Major Minor is definitely a more golden brown and lighter, Liqueur is redder and a bit darker, it's more red based, so it has that liquor-color, it sure made my lips look that way!

Thanks. I just read that is it more of a mauve color. (y/n?) Is it similar to X-Rocks from Neo Sci Fi? Honestly I JUST bought X-Rocks last week and still have yet to use it!

Haha okay I'm totally on a posting frenzy buttttt is Blooming chalkly at all? Almost every swatch I see it looks chalky but it says it a frost. I must be going crazy?

I have both and don't find either to be chalky. Both apply beautifully.

I don't find it find Blooming chalky at all. It doesn't look frosty on me, either, though. I don't know, I love it because it actually reminds me of when I put Cool Pink on my cheeks.

I'm NW15 or lighter, and Plum du Bois is lovely on my skin. It's a lovely plummy colour with golden shimmer that really shows up in the sun. Just don't apply it too heavily, and it will be absolutely lovely.

Blooming is neither chalky nor frosty on me, it simply gives a lovely soft pink flush.

I tried the Spiced Chocolates quad for the first time today and am LOVING it. If you have blue or green eyes this is a must. The colors are gorgeous and can easily go from something natural to more dramatic.

I'm so proud of myself for trying these lippies...tried So Scarlet last night and Lightly Ripe w/Rich and Ripe gloss today.

I was wrong about blossoming blush....I thought it was too light but it looks great w/the other colors in the collection.

I'm guessing by the number of posts in this thread, that there is a great deal of love for the CoC. This has got to be one of the best fall collections that MAC has released in a long time. I heart it so much.

After playing with my goodies for the better part of the weekend, I've decided that the following are the standouts for me:

Blooming blush - For me this was the one standout product of the whole collection, which really surprised me. I'm very tempted to get another one of these. This is what blushes should look like on. Not bright patches of color, but that candlelit from within look that nature should have provided us with. I've been using this one every day and will go thru it very quickly at this rate. I'm tempted to check out Plum du Bois as well now, to see how it compares to Blooming as far quality goes.

The Shadowy Lady quad - I'm loving this so much more than I expected. All of the colors are flattering on and even Lightfall looks beautiful. I'm so glad I picked this one up.

So Scarlet - I put it on yesterday topped with CoC lg and it is so pretty. It brightens up my whole face and just puts me in a sunnier disposition. I may pick another one of these up as well, as flattering reds are hard to find.

I also finally gave into my baser desires and ordered the Spiced Chocolate quad as well. I can't resist chocolates, obviously. And Kirsch is on the way as well. I'm tempted to depot a few more eye shadows and go back for Rich and Ripe lg and purchase the Bing and Chock-ful mattenes as well. So pretty in all of the pictures I've seen.

ok well I got my shadow and now debating about 3 other lippies, chock-ful, bing and liqueur, my problem is trying it on in the store, I'm really germaphobic at times and I know my MA is really good at cleaning her brushes and cooling my nerves with the lipsticks but with the lipglass theres no way to do that and make sure.. I've done it before with me being first in the store and trying it that way, I tend to use my own gloss after.

so with those two lipsticks what are good glosses and liners and would it be good with nw 15 - 20

Then Audrey looks so gorgeous in it so I'm dying for it & then someone comments & says its chalky. Now SMMY says its a standout in the collection. I'm losing my mind over this quad. I don't even know why I am resisting it, I should just order it & stop obsessing.

You silly creature, just order it! I've had best results with it over a shadestick, and found it just fine to blend and really pretty and lovely and... Get it.

I went to the MAC store today FINALLY to look at everything in person. Sadly, I didn't walk out with anything from the collection but "O" I couldn't pass on that one... I've been eyeing it for a while. I was looking at everything and just got completely blank minded! lol I couldn't decide on anything to buy.

All 3 quads were really lovely. I want all 3 but I just can't decide wether I need it or not! It seems like I've seen all the colors before in my own collection. Just like others say... Dupable. Although, they do look pretty sittin in those quads! Deep Truth is really gorgeous! But I'm high on my Sea & Sky still.

Plum Du Bois was so gorgeous! I love plum colored blushes! But I'm still high on my X-Rrocks & Gleeful. I just can't get enough of those 2!! I will prob cave and get the Plum Du Bois. Ever since I left I've been thinking of it!

Silverstruck nail lacquer was very pretty but I have a similar color at already.

I would love to get some of the Mattenes but they are just too dark for me! Dark lip colors just do not work on me.

No, nothing was missing off of the display at the store. I walked through Nordies but didn't see if anything was missing. I did see all three quads sitting in there when I walked by though... From what I can remember, it didn't look empty and I left the mall around 4pm.

Now that I think of it, there was one lipstick missing off the display at the free standing store... I can't remember which one. I think someone may have been looking at it though because the store was just clustered with people! It was kind of annoying how many people were in that place!
