Me too. Bloor Street said absolutely not. Oh well, it was worth a try... I bought a few anyway.

besides me not liking the color, it is not shimmery and shiny and "amazing" like you guys say. And its really starting to frustrate me! I've tried it over fleshpot, bare lips, 2n, 3n.....its unspecial over all of them???
I bought Steppin' Out because of the way it looked in the tube. I'm a sucker for a clean yellow pink. However, it has a red pearl sparkle, which didn't show in the tube, but it very obvious when on my lips and it's not my favourite. But then I look at it in the tube and fall in love with it again.
I need to adjust it somehow... so I don't see as much red pearl when I'm wearing it.

I bought it because I figured it was a safe color, and I liked the swatches esp glam8babe's swatch (im pretty sure thats who it was). I had my heart set on comet blue but I didn't want to be disappointed. So i got a safe color. i don't see any red pearl...at all. all I see is a very unspecial, sheer, dumb pink. LoL I'm going to try rags to riches I think. and if that works, i'll get comet blue and thats it.
i hate having to order online and then return. I need to get a damn car already so I can go to MAC in my mall

Re: Dazzleglass Discussion
Be proud of me...I resisted the Dazzleglasses today!! I do have to say they are very pretty, and I may eventually get a couple, but considering all the great stuff in the upcoming collections, I'd really like to save for those!

Re: Dazzleglass Discussion
I find Steppin' Out gorgeous, it's actually more pigmented than my Ms. Fizz in my opinion. I do see some red pearl, I suggest trying it over a lipcolor that has gold shimmer in it? That's what I did with Bombshell and I think the gold helped tone down the red pearl.
I just tried Comet Blue over Bombshell.
It turns it into a light plummy pink color. It's really pretty!

I am extremely proud of you! I on the other hand was out with my daughter today and just 'happened' to go by a MAC counter... and somehow have in my possession one more Dazzleglass!! Picked up Sugarrimmed, I couldn't resist the teal glitter in it any longer! So I'm quite happy with Sugarrimmed, Bare Necessity and Baby Sparks, but I'm still not sure I'm quite feeling Money, Honey and Steppin' Out .

At first I thought the Bare Necessities must be bad until I found that others smell just like it, but it seems unlikely that I would get 3 bad ones during one purchase (of 4 that were purchased on one day; I had CB already).
Has anyone else noticed this?
YES! My Rags to Riches smells funky. Kinda chemically. I went to exchange it, and got another that smelled funk. So I ended up returning it and I went over to my local Freestanding. Still smells funky! Oh well, I'm living with it.
Also, I was able to B2M for a Dazzleglass at my freestanding in Tigard, OR

Re: Dazzleglass Discussion
Hi:
I noticed Rags To Riches is almost exact match to Sweetness lipgloss from mac love Barbie. I only have one back of the sweetness. I just love this colors.

It looks like pale pink grapefruit on me.
I applied a heavier coat of Ahoy There & then put Baby Sparks over it - beautiful pink look.

Re: Dazzleglass Discussion
Did we ever come to a conclusion as to whether there is as much product in these as in the other glosses?
Bottom line... good value or overpriced?

Re: Dazzleglass Discussion
I am REALLY loving the ones I got. I still want to get Sugarrimmed, Like Venus, Bare Necessity and Baby Sparks. I really hope I can still get them once I have the money to pick up a few more. They have GOT to make these permanent, and add a bunch more shades. That would be awesome!

I've heard other people complain about Rags to Riches smelling funny. That sucks because I was planning on getting that one next

Re: Dazzleglass Discussion
Sorry if this has already been answered, but does anyone know when these will be unavailable? My birthday is in the end of June and I want to know if I can wait or if I need to borrow some money from my mom

i don't see why not. i don't work at a freestanding store, so i don't know for sure. but since you can b2m for a plushglass, you should be able to for a dazzleglass.

From what I was told the last couple of times I went to my local counters (different locations), Baby Sparks and Bare Necessity were two of the more popular shades. So if you really want either of these, make sure to add it to your mother's day wish list

Re: Dazzleglass Discussion
First I said to myself I wouldn't buy any of these. Then I decided to at least check them out in person. Now I'm the proud owner of Comet Blue, Ms. Fizz, and Rags to Riches.
These things are gorgeous! The swatches online really don't do them justice, IMO. Ms. Fizz is the only one that I have worn, but I love it. Definitely need to email MAC to try and get them made permanent ^_^.
