Re: Dazzleglass Discussion
Oh my damn. Guys....seriously. Sugarrimmed is the prettiest lipgloss I have ever worn in my entire life....I'm in complete shock. I wanted to take a picture on my crappy phone...and even while I was holding my phone, the glitter specks were just glittering and moving all over the place.

I have never felt so....gorgeous and glamorous and girly and perfect....like seriously. This gloss is pure hot liquid sex. I must find one more. Just one more sugarrimmed.

If I only had $16.50 left in my bank account, I would still buy a backup of sugarrrimmed haha Best lipgloss ever.

Re: Dazzleglass Discussion
I guess sign me up as a glitter-loving bimbo.

After being in hiding and money conserving mode, I went and bought 12 things at the counter, 4 of them being dazzleglasses.

I was moving the rest of the weekend, so I forgot which ones (I am a "just throw that one in there" type of shopper), but I'll update with my haul tonight.

I am the same way. i told myself I was only getting a few things because of all the collections coming out this summer, but when it was time to get all my stuff together at MAC I couldn't believe my ears "Okay I want 3 of these, both of those, that blush, the foundation, the charged water, the liner..."

Thats when I blacked out. And it was 10 minutes before the mall closed haha you gotta love those last minute purchases

They are addictive. I want like 4-5 more. They are just so pretty and perfect. They are like....amazing. They just complete a look. There are so many colors that you can always find one to compliment your look. A lot of times I don't buy into the hype of products but these more than live up to their reputation.

I wouldnt really know, since I have pigmented lips....But seriously....hmm let me try to explain. Its a pale clearish gloss but semi-milky (like its not just clear gloss, but its not like WHITE) either...its like a pale lipglass with a lot of shimmer, some blue and red reflects.

It seems complicated, right? Thats cuz its just.. its so unique. Seriously...it can go with every face since its not like bright purple or red, its neutral. Just get it, please. Just get it, and thank me later. And while ur at it, pick me up another one! I highly doubt you will hate it...

I got date night too...and it seems more violet on me than plummy...but i havent tried it again. Its like...glamorous though. I just like sugarrimmed more. Its like a spotlight/disco ball on ur lips...a good disco ball. WOOT WOOT

I just bought one online in Love Alert, I just fell in love with the colour! I'm trying to limit my spending at the moment but I figure since there will eventually be perm. I have other chances to splash out on them and go crazy!

Did anyone get a Rags to Riches that didn't smell like total shite? Seriously, I have ordered two and they both smell like petrol, rotten food and natural gas.

I am still amazed at how they get such a glittery look without any grit.

No...I only ordered one online and it smells like you described Well I opened it this morning to see if it smelled still, and it didn't smell as bad as the first time. But I don't want to put it on....because it will get worse, I know it.

I went to MAC on Sunday, and I asked my MA if they had any rags to Riches left. He said yes and opened it up and smelled it, then i smelled it, and it just smelled super vanilla-y. I told him I'd bring mine in so he could smell for himself

Oh yeah, ladies...what was the batch number of your stinky rags to riches? I think this was mentioned, but I forgot to look at my batch number...

Good idea. I checked and both of mine are batch: D18X. Weird, eh? I bought every other colour and all of the batches are listed using the normal protocol, ie A67 or A18.

I wonder where these shitty D18X came from? What is the "x" for? Experiment? As in let's experiment to see how bad we can make them smell?

These probably were made in the same Chinese factory that made all of that tainted dog food. I swear. Something is really wrong with them to smell that badly.

When I called about it, maccosmetics.com, the CS lady said they had been having a bunch of complaints about Rags to Riches. Here's a thought....pull them. Quit selling them.

Oh shit. You are TOO funny! Mine is D18X as well. I just smelled it again...the smell was worse than this morning, but there is still that strong vanilla mixed in there. This is soooo weird. Did the lady offer your money back or something?

I won't use this, I think...It makes me throw up a little in my mouth. The second day i got it, I had only used it once...and the first time it didnt stink. Then the next day I smelled it and I was disappointed, but still decided to put just a little dab in the center of my lower lip. And that was even too much! Such a pretty color. That will just sit in my traincase, as a wasted $16.50.

Re: Dazzleglass Discussion
MACcosmetics.com will credit you if call them. I just need to call. Don't eat that $16.50, definitely call or return it depending on where you bought it.

Personally, I am not a person who can handle bad smells, so I wouldn't even think of wearing it. Aside from that, I reeeeaalllly don't recommend anyone else wears their Rags to Riches if is smells like that. There is something nasty going on in that glass to make it smell that bad. That isn't something you should put around your mouth.

I will get a credit and B2M them as well. Technically they probably don't want me to do that, but that's my extra bonus for the trouble.

Re: Dazzleglass Discussion
So I tried Comet Blue on top of Ruby Woo and it was just okay for me. At first I really liked the combo, but later in the day it turned purple (makes sense I guess). Oh well, I def going to try new combos!

**I'm still waiting for my GOLD Dazzleglass MAC!!!!** LOL.

Re: Dazzleglass Discussion
I am going to return my Rags to Riches. It has smelled since day one, but I put it on this morning, and I was sick to my stomach within minutes. I had to take it off. I am waiting for the MAs at my counter to tell me it smells fine. When I told them a few weeks ago that it smelled rottom, they made it sound like I was overreacting. I'm sorry, but I don't have $16.50 to sit in my traincase. For the amount of money I spend there, I shouldn't get any grief. I'm already dreading the return (though I always dread it, cause I feel like they get mad at me).

Re: Dazzleglass Discussion
Agreed MAC_Whore, I don't think something that smells that off should be put on skin, much less anywhere near the mouth! I sent mine back with an explanation about the smell. I'm sure they've gotten many complaints and I can't imagine why they're still shipping these out. But other than that...I am still loving the Dazzleglasses!
