MAC - Dazzleglass Discussion

I got my Money, Honey Dazzleglass today. See pics below. All taken with no flash.

Personally, I'm not impressed. They are just as sticky, maybe a little more, than regular lipglasses and they are very, very glittery. I honestly will probably not buy any more when they come out ... one of the other colors would really have to "wow" me for me to buy another..

I was thinking.....

What if the person put these up on ebay actually has ties to MAC, and people who bought them are the "guinea pigs"?

So, if they report back to MAC and let them know people did not like them, then MAC won't put anymore money into the project.

I know, a crazy idea, but that is just what I think!

Actually, Danapotter...I had the exact same thought

Mine didn't seem to have that much glitter in them for some reason and I really did like the colors on. I probably wouldn't buy more than the 2 I got.

I think it's lighter than in the seller pics. But it's a gorgeous color: a slightly peachy-pink, there's a golden/peachy glow to it, the sparkles are metallic pink, in different lighting they may even seem silver.

When I rub my lips over eachother I don't feel the glitter, it isn't chunky at all. I do think the gloss could've been smoother, the rubbing isn't easy (yeah, that sounds totally weird, but you get the point, right?)

EDIT: I'm now wearing the dazzleglass over lipstick (Blueblood) and it's way smoother!!

I bought mine in babysparks and sugarrimmed too.. I hate the packaging design. It has no stopper at the top to take off excess gloss so when you stick the brush back in, i feel like the gloss is gonna overflow to the top! =[

Got my Love Alert late last week. I love the way it looks on, but its quite sticky I think. Probably just as sticky as regular lipglasses, so I was bummed on that. However, I really love the look. Sheer tint with sparkle, not too glittery. I'll probably purchase 1 or 2 more when they are released.

I got the Dazzleglass in Baby Sparks and Money, Honey. I love the way they look on - I'm a huge fan of glitter, so I'm loving the way my lips sparkle and shine. I like that they're packaged in the bigger tubes, like the Lip Lacquers and I think they go on pretty smooth. However, they do have a bit of stickiness to them, so there's that.

I got Venus and Sugarimmed through the post. I really like these, however, the colour is very sheer. There's not much colour payoff at all, IMO the colour is mostly in the sparkle/glitter.

Sparkly lip gloss takes me back to when I was 14. oh well... when the collection comes out, I'll just buy a new lipstick instead ^_^

Hrrm...I realllly like these, but I hate brush-tip lipgloss applicators. I have to look in a mirror to make sure I got it on straight, and I like just smooshing it on and leaving.

How is dazzleglass any different from a lipglass? More glitter perhaps?
I hate products that have a lot of glitter like the Fafi iridescent powders, fafi lipstick with a glaze finish and now these. Ugh. I love lipglasses, they have so much color with a hint of shimmer. I'll save up for Heatherette.

I love sparkly lip stuff! That's why I wear lipglasses most of the time. I've just got two lipsticks, Viva Glam and Russian Red, for the "big moments" and I will try Fun 'n' Sexy (Fafi) as well.
I need at least two Dazzleglasses.

There are 2 more shades actually, Glamour O.D. and Date Night. One is sparkling hot red while the other is almost purple. They are not hyper pigmented but they should be good enough for those of you out there with lips that are quite pigmented! =D

I really love these! I like sparkle/glitter stuff - I was only expecting to like the pink/red colored ones but after seeing that swatch of that blue dazzleglass, I'm considering purchasing it when it comes out!
