Re: MAC - Dazzleglass Discussion
So not to beat a dead horse, but 1 mini lipglass from little darlings has more product than a dazzleglass?? the minis are 2.4g and the dg are 1.92g! I knew the regular l/g were bigger, but that much bigger! whoa!

okay back on topic.
yeah, I actually just bought one from someone, so I can wear it there next season!
Yeah I love the Royals! I'm really excited for the re-opening of the stadium next year! It's gonna look amazing!
Great dream I'd rather have it as the Royals winning & me & Alex Gordon
back to dazzleglasses... I really need to get me a backup of Baby Sparks

Re: MAC - Dazzleglass Discussion
To me Baby Sparks seems s perfect Hello Kitty dazzleglass because of the pastel baby pink colour. I'm really curious which colours the dazzleglasses will be in the HK collection!

Re: MAC - Dazzleglass Discussion
I just got my first ever Dazzleglass yesterday - Sugarrimmed! I love it so much - love the vanilla scent. I will also be interested to see what Dazzleglasses come out with the HK collection.

I haven't seen Baby Sparks in person yet but from a swatch here on specktra together with the Pastel Emotion l/g from Umgaro I really hope the l/g from HK are as sparkly as Pastel Emotion! I am still mad at myself that I didn't bought a backup. It is so much more sparkly than my Dazzleglass in Pink Venus! I have to watch ebay! Too pretty to be a Lipglass!

Shhhh don't talk about pretty lipglasses! MAC kills me a little bit with every collection when new and gorgeous lipglasses are released and I can't use them

That's a good description!
You should see my look of pure envy when my mum and sister take out their lipglasses and start dabbing it on!

but beating dead horses is fun. so here's some more.
this might explain why. take off the sticker on the bottom and you'll see how thick the wall really is (and how the inner tube containning the product is VERY thin even compare to mini lipglasses)
i happen to have empty containers of a lipglass and dazzleglass, so i did my little experiment
on the left it's a dazzleglass tube filled with water (i dyed it black so it's easier to see), then i dumped the water into a lipglass tube. and it looks like the picture on the right (i marked the fill level with red lines)
it's filled exactly half way
so i think it proves that there's less product in dazzleglass in terms of weight AND volume (unless someone can convince me that these are magic tubes that change volume depending on the content inside)
and i know that MAs are told by the trainers that these are expensive b/c reflects glitter are expensive? well, that's also a lie. dazzleglass and reflects glitters both cost $17.50. but reflects glitters are 7.5g each, which means even if dazzleglass is pure reflects glitters, it would cost no more than $4.50 to give mac the same percentage of retail profit. so the only logicall explaination is that either mac is lying or the fancy tube cost us $13.

Re: MAC - Dazzleglass Discussion
Yea, nice experiment! I kind of feel ripped off now, lol. I mean like I said, this is totally OLD NEWS that they don't hold as much product as they let on, but I didn't really care to think that it was so little! I love dg, but I might have to rethink them.
Thanks for the visuals, sleepyhead!

Thanks for doing that experiment! I never really bought the whole "reflex glitters make it so expensive" thing, so what does?
