Re: Dazzleglass Discussion
That promo pic is gorgeous, but if everyone who bought one on ebay is saying that it goes on sheer, or that the color payoff isn't good, what in the world are they using in the picture? 'Cause whatever it is, I want it.

Re: Dazzleglass Discussion
How do you know that the ones you "pre-bought" (ie, purchased before release) are r eal, not fake? I'd be nervous!
They *are* gorgeous!

No, they will be released on May 1st together with Naughty Nauticals. I don't think they will be available to purchase earlier.

Re: Dazzleglass Discussion
So....any confirmation on the $16.50 price? If so, I guess I'd be better off buying some now on eBay for the same price....

they are $16.50. unless mac decides to increase the price right before they come out (they've done this before, like with the moisturelush face/eye cream).

Re: Dazzleglass Discussion
I just snagged one in "Like Venus" (bubble gum pink) for a total of $12.49 on eBay! I really wanted Steppin' Out but hey I'll take it!

Augh, me too! I just got the mailer today and yeesh, what a way for MAC to get me to renege on my no-buy! And I've completely avoided reading this thread and the swatch thread so I don't fall into liking anything from this collection... all of my good efforts to be pierced by a postcard, lol!
Altho that $20Cdn is a good deterrent...unless we can b2m for them?

Re: Dazzleglass Discussion
that price sucks...i hate how some of the glosses are more than $14...like the plushglass (i think) i might get ONE of those but daaaayum. Can't they all just be the same price.
Until i see some newer swatches, i'm not even thinking about these. They just seem so sheer and glittery....I hate both of those lol. I dont like big chunky sparkles on my lips and I really hate glosses that are too sheer. wtf is the point u know.

i must say that no pics on this swatch forum do these dazzleglass's any justice!!! they are much more pigmented than you see in any swatches... it must be the way the sparkles get caught on camera, but i really am amazed by them, i wasnt gonna bother getting more when they are released but i'm deffo gonna pick up a few other colours.
Hope this helps!
I completely agree that you really have to see the Dazzleglasses in person!
I only have one, Ms. Fizz, so far, and I don't find it to be very pigmented.
If you're looking for a lipgloss that can give your face that bright "pop" of color when worn on its own, like "Style Minx" from Heatherette, you may be a bit let down by the Dazzleglasses.
The tiny sparkles in the Dazzleglasses are mesmerizing, though, especially in natural sunlight.
Thanks for the photos; they are very helpful!

I agree with ya. I love glitter, but the pricetag is kind of steap. It was the same with Plushglass, which is $17.50 a tube. I was a little put off by the price of them, but allowed myself to get ONE. Well, I fell in love with it of course, and am now on my 4th tube of Bountiful Plushglass. I am afraid the same thing will happen here, so I am trying to talk myself out of them completely. I may not be able to resist though. I am not making any promises.

They look so pretty though! I want glitter bomb on my lips, I don't care what people think! LOL. I will allow myself to get one. Okay fine. I'm going to pretend that I'm only getting one.
And knowing you, you're not going to be able to talk yourself out of them! Ahhh.. MAC is as much our love as our bane!

Thank God people on e-bay don't know they are going to be $16.50 because those prices would go up,up,up...

Just two more weeks... I am used to wait for new MAC collections b/c of the release delay here. That's why I know two weeks aren't too long
A German proverb says: Anticipation is the best joy.
BTW: I can't wait to hold them in my hands either.
