MAC - Double Dazzle Discussion

So.....get to speculating! Thoughts? Guesses?

The promo pic is gorgeous. And looks like this will be the collection where Dazzleglasses become perm? Bring it on. Hopefully there will be lots of colours available.

I am anticipating the day when Dazzleglasses come to us permanently. Can I wait 'til May? I guess I have to! Maybe they'll do a mascara with a sparkle topcoat?

Ooh Sounds interesting. Is it anew mascara? Like how stila came out with major lash and than major major lash. A new and improved formula? I don't know. That totally does look like dazzleglass. I will be so happy if they change the formula for the dazzleglass. Please be less sticky!! Maybe Duo Dazzleglasses?

Maybe an LE Dazzle Lash with one side Dazzle Lash and the other side is primer or a sparkle top coat? Maybe the primer is more likely since you would be "doubling" your lashes? I guess we shall see.......

IMO, MAC needs to create a mascara that dupes Tarte's 4 Day Lash Stain. It is absolutely revolutionary. I really am surprised that I don't hear more raves for it. I have stopped using all of my other mascaras (that includes Diorshow, Diorshow Icon, Kiss Me, Givenchy Phenomen'Eyes, Lancome's ÔSCILLATION - Vibrating Infinite Powermascara and the rest of the lot). The Tarte Mascara is brilliant.

My lashes are dark and thick, but don't curl much. Even if I curl them, when I apply the mascara it totally flattens out the curl. Tarte totally elimnates that and keeps them curly.

It takes a bit to get used to, but once you do, perfection.

Wouldnt it be cool if it was one side dazzley mascara and the other side...dazzleglass or some sort of sparkly gloss!!!! Mac get to it. BUT most likely it will be a mascara and like a top coat. Could be interesting.

Yeah Imma go with the Dazzleglass and Dazzlelash. I would so love for the d/g to become perm cuz I am limiting how often I use the 2 I have now.

The first thing that came to my mind was a double sided dazzleglass and a double sided mascara.
Maybe one sheer sparkly side and one more opaque side/lipcolor side like ungaros "not so shy" for the dazzleglass and one side with the primer and one side with the mascara as mentioned one the other. I wouldn't like both products in one packaging because mascara gets bad faster.

I'm also guessing this is the Dazzleglass release. When I talked to my MA back at the beginning of November, she told me that she had seen the spring collections. She told me to keep the info to myself, but since this has been posted I guess it's ok. She mentioned the dazzleglass release & new cremesheens. I think she said 15 of one & 17 of the other, but couldn't remember which number went to which collection. Then there's a cupcake or sweets themed collection with a layered dazzleglass. I think someone found a picture of this a long time ago on ebay and posted it.

Can't wait to see all of it!

Im thinking this will be a mascara topcoat and the permanantization (yay, i made up a word!) of the dazzleglasses.

To me a masc on one end and a dg on the other doesn't make any sense since they are unrelated products. A dazzleglass on one end and a lipsafe glitter on the other- now that would be double the dazzle for sure!

I also agree with Mac_whore about macs need to up the ante on mascaras. They need to keep up with the new technology. A lower price point isn't enough to keep mac customers buying mac mascara in the face of innovations by other brands (lancome, givenchy, tarte)

I agree with Adina. Where's the new MAC mascara incorporating one of the many innovative brush technologies? IMO, Cover Girl's Lash Blast gives most of the current MAC mascara's a run for their money, at a much lower price.

I do love my Plushlash, though.
