They can sell them for $100 each if they want -- someone will buy them. It's unfortunate the not everyone can afford those prices but then again, I know plenty of people who can't afford all of the MAC we all buy, period. I hear constantly "You pay WHAT for your make-up?!?" So, just sayin'.
But people who buy it JUST to resell it for 2-3x the amount it's worth? That's WRONG in my opinion! I understand everyone is just "tryin' to make a buck" or it's "the American way" or whatever. But it sucks for those of us who really want this item, CAN afford it at retail but CAN'T get it because people are greedy. Just my opinion, take it for what it's worth...
...can you tell I'm sad about being at work and missing out on this collection?

Re: Dress Camp discussion
~Sorry I don't know if this has been mentioned already but for those of you in London (may be applicable to other Brits) I was told by a MAC ma today that Dress Camp is Harvey Nichols exclusive. It won't be in freestanding stores or Selfridges.

Oh no it'll be too expensive because MAC prices are crazy in Singapore... add in shipping and everything else, I'd say u are better off without it really...
I'd really really REALLY love to do CP for a lot of u because I know what its like to miss out on something u really want... I felt like dying when I didn't get Real Doll during Barbie. But prices are so high here, I won't be amazed if u guys can get it cheaper on ebay if the seller is from US or Canada.

I won, BTW, and I'm happy but good grief. I also have to buy paint for an entire house so......

Re: Dress Camp discussion
The irony being that I have an extra palette that I'm willing to let go just for my costs and no one here seems to want it. But I'm not big into the whole supply and demand thing. I kind of like the idea that we help each other here out because we can, not just to make money.
On the bright side this will make a certain young lady over at MUA very happy. I told her if I didn't have any nibbles here in 24 hours, it is hers.

I would have been so on top of it, but I just happened to purchase mine when it BRIEFLY restocked. If you had any of the lip products, I would have been at your doorstep

Thank you so much! It's really kind of you to go out of your way like that. I think there haven't been any PMs yet because it's sort of slightly almost still available since today is the launch date. Tomorrow I'm sure there'll be people in your inbox asking. But I'm glad that you've already got someone in mind to make happy =D

Re: Dress Camp discussion
I don't think its been mentioned in this thread, but apparently the MAC store on Robson in Vancouver still has items but will only ship to Canada, but if anyone is the US desperate maybe they can call & have it sent to someone here that is in Canada & our Canadian friend could then forward the package on?

I think mac.com only sends out postcards for major collections to promote them, so it doesn't surprise me to not have them for dress camp (just a guess)
Maybe we'll see postcards from them for NN or SciFi/solar/future collections cause they'll be big

That would be about the same as buying it on ebay... the palette costs $51 and the lip stuff cost $19... + double the shipping...

Re: Dress Camp discussion
okay i have a question
now if you work for M.A.C., are you informed of all the collections that come out that year, even if they do not come to your store?
Because i had just called up to the store in the city i am in and just to ask if they had Dress Camp. The female replied, "OH you mean with Heatherette??"
..........since when was Dress Camp and Heatherette together? and to make it worse she was the manager, and i just don't really even know what to say. I know all of these collections and i JUST got into M.A.C. in January. I just wanna know. Please soothe my anger lol.

Re: Dress Camp discussion
I've found that to be all too common. When I went to my counter shortly after Heatherette came out, she had no idea what Alpha Girl was, or the Beauty Powder Blush. Who knows why...too much to remember? I dunno
